Yet another rider from holland being said by RUBEN!! that he is the next dutch talent. I'm pretty sure you have said this a few time
Say what you want about how the riders Ruben says are good are good, but they usually are. Ruben is normally pretty good at predicting Dutch talent (maybe a little less successful at predicting foreign talent, but good with the Dutch none the less)
Besides, Ad is clearly overreacting here.
If he reads well, I say nowhere he is going to be big. I'm just saying he is a talent. Everybody with the ability to become a professional cyclist is a talent, even Nick Gates was a talent. Even Wim Vansevenant was a talent.
So, I don't get why Ad has to react like that...who knows!
Luckily Deadpool reacts normally
And yeah Wyman, Cunego, Simoni, and many other big names won the race (but also lesser riders like Kvachuk )
I just hope Ruijgh can become a good climber, because he is a Dutch guy who is from my region (Limburg). And at the moment there are no good Limburgian professional cyclists |

Bo Belhage, the more honourable part of the duo that tested the CSC riders (Damsgaard being the guy who is not to be trusted with a ten foot pole) has talked about why he stopped the programme.
Says he has extremely strong doubts about Riis' team, says that Damsgaard lied several times and that a lot of what Damsgaard said "We test for CERA too" when Riccò was caught is bullshit.
Also says that the last straw was when Frank Schleck wasn't fired even though it was proven he was collaborating with Fuentes.
Finally, he states that Damsgaard was acting a lot on his own, there was no transparency at all, and Damsgaard's actions were extremely suspicious in a lot of cases. He particularly mentioned Damsgaard's reaction to the rumours abound that several CSC riders had suspicious blood values for the use of CERA in the 2008 Tour.

That's very interesting, but I'm afraid it's only going to let there be even more discussions about who is doped and who is clean.
Does someone know how many tests they have retested/going to retest from the Tour 2008? |

Samples from approximately 20 riders that showed suspicious values. Those 20 samples include almost all the top 20 plus Laurens ten Dam.
The other names we know for sure are being tested are Menchov and Evans.

The Danish roster for the Worlds is as follows:
Saxo Bank
That is all.
Germany will likely call up Danilo Hondo. Yes, you read that right.

He's in the pre-selection of 18.
A further pre-selection of 13 was supposed to be released today but I haven't heard about it yet so it might've been postponed.

So they are still testing? If that's the case, that can turn out to be pretty dangerous for the "clean line" UCI says there is in cycling nowadays.... |

I have clearly missed something in this retest-case, I though I had read somewhere that they where finished retesting it, and no-one were positive |

And we're still waiting for the retesting of the 2008 Giro samples that supposedly started 2 weeks before the Giro.....
This is all very strange

theres only two cyclist who is clear. one is Evans and other is Kaggestad.
but talking seriously, i think its impossible to catch and control all riders.
and retesting samples is so stupid, because if you only now has discovered how to find new EPO, its stupid to judge and ban riders who used it when it wasnt discovered how to find it.

Why? Whether their drugs were detectable at the time or not, the riders still cheated and deserve to be caught

wtf?
as they knew they couldn't be caught at the time, they shouldn't be punished now??

If it is against the rules to artificially enhance performance through drugs or blood doping, its still cheating whether it can be found at the time or not and they deserved to be banned. |
