Guys, it's sure, that there was an agreement betweent Valverde and Szmyd - Valvi takes yellow, Szmyd takes stage.
But sth must've happened with Szmyd's bike or sth... If he would've been completely dead, he would never catch Valverde again - even if Spaniard would walk towards finish. I know Szmyd's style very well, and I'm convinced, that he would lose like 40-50 seconds if he would've really been dead!
Still, great behaviour by Valverde, true cycling gentleman! |

Would you care to explain why Szmyd, and not Valverde, would make you sick?
No, because I thought he was only joking with "hitting the wall" but Valverde let him win, so I change my mind for a sec. But his team makes me über sick.

Valverde was gentelman today for shure.
But main question..(About the Tdf)
What was Contador and Evans doing today?
Evans was clearly better shape at the moment..(and Contador current situation is real good news for Astana fans) |

Why?
Because they're almost as "good" as Astana? |

It was a nice gesture from Valverde. But Evans did a good job, anyways. Unlike Valverde, nobody helped him during the chase (against the wind, btw). And Contador, the man to watch, the super climber, didn't do a thing to at least defend a bit his second place. And to those who said he hadn't the obligation to attack: if today wasn't the day for him to get the yellow yersey, then when?

Because they signed with Basso after 2 and not 4 years. And because I doesn't think they did it so good in the giro without dop.

Valverde didn't give this victory to Smyd, he had issues with his gear. It was obvious, look at the replays.

I believe them both Evans and Contador is not here for overall win. TT stage and taste of tour mountains is main goal. |

Yes Szmyd had problems, so Valverde waited.

Yup, look at his derailleur in the replay. The french commentators were pointing to it.

Torsen is talking about Valverde having gear problems
They both had mechanicals.

My avatar is of a rider! Cervelo is the real team, but because of Contador I have to hold a bit to Astana.

I don't see "Astana" written there. I see a big sign saying "Discovery"

Let's not turn this into another doping discussion. It's clear that ReschNicolai isn't being too rational, so let it be. |
