i think i'm owed a huge apology from some people
don't underestimate cav. he's the best sprinter in the world at the moment and will dominate for years. like i said when i predicted he would win, no-one is in his league at the moment. he will be the best sprinter of all time! Fact ( well my opinion but who can argue otherwise) |

At least i don't deny it but he had no chances of winning this... Unless every DS gave him the victory...

So he's going to get 189 career road wins?
Here's a FACT for ya:
Top speeds recorded in flat sprints
Cipollini - 75
Petacchi - 72
Cavendish - 71

didn't you see it? They almost stopped. It was the most insane thing I've ever seen in cycling

Petacchi and Bennati were right behind Hushovd. But yes, they had nothing to put up against Cavendish`s and Hausslers`s acceleration.

Excuses Ringo? For what? The fact that the race was so soft, that even Backstedt could have survived it?

Got stream with 8 km to go and was surprised with seeing Velo or Tosatto at the front and 70 riders still in the pack. Then Rebellin went, I thought something was happening - until I saw Cavendish at the back and realized that they hadn't even begun the race.
Never.

here's another fact. cav is only 22 and has already won the race that cipo spent his whole career trying to win. When he was 21 he dominated the Giro and TdF and so far he's dominated every race he's entered this year. i know i'm a brit and going to be biased, but who can argue against him? I think he will surpass the win record. How many wins did he get last year? He's got 10+ (maybe less but it's still early season) already this year and if he races for another 10 years at that ratio then he'll easily get more wins then the 189(or whatever it is)
and it doesn't matter how "easy" the race was. When i said cav would win earlier in the week i got ridiculed. I think i deserve a bit of harmless gloating |

I remeber you telling Ringo off for stating that Cav would win as if he was an expert. You then claimed, that Cav would never get over the Hills as if you were the the expert. I believe that you even said that a Cav win would be impossible. You were wrong now please act like a man and admit it in stead of excuses. |

The best thing is that it's the 2nd time Ruben has been absolutely sure - and been absolutely wrong |

Dekker just sms-ed. He got a flat tire 2km before the Cipressa. How is it possible that the guy has so much bad luck? |
