I don't know where Inoue is going. As far as I know, he hasn't signed a contract for the 2009 season after being released from Amica Chips - Knauf (previously Nippo - Endeka).
Hopefully he'll sign for them, I always sign him in PCM
EDIT: Also, does anyone know if any new American riders have signed on with major European teams?

Schumacher is in complete denial. He has applied for a 2009 license and says that it's a difficult situation for his new employer, Quick-Step.
Pathetic.
In other news, rumours say that Skil-Shimano is very close at getting a wild card for the Tour. Yeah, he says, there's no prosecution going on against him.
I think it's simply an administrative matter, as he was caught positive, he hadn't applied for a licence, thus he got no prosecution.
As he had no prosecution against him, he decided to eventuallly apply for a licence and claim his innocence, but surely now he'll get prosecuted as well ? |

I have an interview with Stefan Schumacher about that if you would like I could translate it
He says that :
He hasn´t got a case like Vino or Landis so the German Federation have to give him a license
In the Tour he was tested 12 times (urine test) and 5 times (blood test) every test was negative , 2 blood tests were for the UCI blood passport
He was at every test under the percentage for EPO doping
Hamoglobin and Retikolozyts (sorry haven´t got the english names for that but both are an indicator for blood doping) 132 is allowed (for both) , he got 98 and 102
Hamatocrit 50 are allowed he got 43 and 45 he said "When I was at CERA , there is the proof that CERA is useless"
The doping tests were unsealed and opened for months before they were controlled again , also they were stored at 18 degrees which is too high also the tests were many times send to Paris and Lausanne also in a protocol stands that he is once positive and once negative also at the first TT win he was negative (CERA negative) and at the pause he should be positive , that wouldn´t make sense
There was also the question when he is clean , why wouldn´t he allow to test the B-samples :
He says that he doesn´t trust them anymore after the A-samples things
The interviewer said : but that isn´t good when you would like to bring in some credibility , Schumi said : At the first sight yes but everyone would do it so when it happened to you
He wouldn´t say that the samples are manipulated against him but with the things it can happen that the samples aren´t useful (validity of the tests would be disputable)
The interviewer also said that Lang said after the Tour that after Ricco was caught , everyone was happy but not him
Schumi said that the Gerolsteiner coach was at the Saunier Duval coach and he saw how Ricco was hauled off in handcoffs by the police , Ricco wasn´t his friend but when someone is hauled off , he wouldn´t be happy , that would be disrespectful , also he said that to the Gerolsteiner riders
Here the interview isn´t very much interesting for international cycling fans (he also said that he isn´t the undertaker of german cycling , he isn´t so important that Deutschland Tour etc. won´t start , also he likes cycling , he is 27 and hot to ride for Quickstep XD)
I think there is a great percentage that he will ride for Quickstep next year because there isn´t something at the courts by the German Federation so he will become a license , also the Quickstep contract will be effective samples aren´t stored right etc. -> samples are useless , also Lefevre and Holczer will become in danger when they will ban him for Quickstep (Lefevre) or sue Schumacher (Holczer) because he will become right

Microdosing. Enough said. Just because you're not over an arbitrary number doesn't mean you didn't artificially boost your natural numbers.

Pretty much every single rider says those same lies to try to get away with it, and every time lawyers have to go out and prove the same elementary truths for the trillionth time:
A. As long as the samples aren't frozen, they can be stored in perfect condition for more than a decade without any impact on the result of the analysis;
B. The labs store the samples in proper conditions of temperature, lockdown, etc.
Rin, for the love of god, use punctuation and paragraphs, your posts read like a person screaming conjoined sentences
It's hard to read.

Still, no matter how much you warm the samples, or cold them, no matter where you drive them, if you shake them up and down, etc. that won't make exogen EPO (testosterone, etc.) appear in them. That could give a useless sample, but hardly a wrong positive one...

It's like Ullrich's excuse of "I'm not taking a DNA test. I'm worried about false positives".
If they screw up any part of the analysis, only one thing happens: the test comes back negative even if the rider is guilty.

Francaise des Jeux joins Cofidis and Euskaltel as non-participants in Giro. I think this is good, more motivated Italian teams can enter. |

Agreed, kind of like Euskatel in Paris-Roubaix
They wait until the first cobbled section and then quit as a team |

Thats not fair,Ireland has the European junior sprint champion.
As well as a very strong junior track team and still without a velodrome.

Hey America only has somewhere around eight velodromes, Ireland doesn't deserve one |
