Surprised that I had more than 8 starters this week but Bora has too many options to include Haller for just Eschborn Frankfurt

Hoping Del Toro is the only scorer for Romagna!

Well that was another long boring solo Grin

Van der Poel still got third after a controversial chase makes things interesting, I'll to post a small ranking update tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Trusted my guys from the previous block to do well in LBL, but seems like I didn't score a lot of points. Thanks for the update as well again Ollfardh. Two wins out of four races wasn't bad for the Zondagscoureurs.

Now I need to hope Ewan doesn't do well in Frankfurt, or I might cry a little bit.

So for the rankings, the Ice Tulips had a big race and are the 12th team to break 1000 points total. Also good scoring by the Macros to climb to 7th. The Rogues claim the final podium spot for now but don't score enough to close the gap to the top 2 teams. As Van der Poel scored 20 points more than Van Gils, the W come 20 points closer to the Racoons.

De Lie is back, Zingle finally showed up and Van Gils secures his 3rd place in the rider rankings. Final race in this block on wednesday.

Block 9 results

We started off with the final monument, where Pogacar once again showed who's the boss. No major changes at the top yet, while in Romagna our only starter Del Toro gave the Spokes 28 points.

The Famenne saw some key results in the rankings, especially at the top as Van Gils increased the gap for the Racoons. To top it all off, he went on to win in Frankfurt and pretty much secured the victory for his team.

The Racoons have a big gap, and keep in mind due to the calendar change it's only CT races left in the final block. The W were once again struggling to find a second scorer behind Mathieu. The Rogues created a small gap as well, trying to hold on to the final podium spot.

The Zondagcoureurs are 4th and would need some big scoring to get back on the podium. The same goes for the Cobblers only a few points behind them. Even the Spokes still can dream of the podium after a solid round of 4 scoring races.

The Macros picked up the slack after a difficult season and are 7th right now. The 59'ers are next, but still can go up or down a spot. In 9th we have the Red Lanterns, who had a really tough Ardennes. The Fainthearts are the last team in the top 10, for now.

The Hornets can still overtake them though, only a few points behind and they tend to score well in the smaller races. The Ice Tulips can dream of the top 10 as well, but they will need someone else than Pogacar to step up. The Hussars had a pretty good round, but were already behind too much. The Bombers avoid a 3rd zeropointer.

Only 4 continental races left. Looking at the rankings, the top 2 places seem set in stone, though one might always hope for a miracle. Much more interesting is the fight for the final podium spot, between the Rogues, Zondagcoureurs, Cobblers and maybe even the Spokes. Not that many points left, but still enough.

Then there's the shame of missing out on the top 10. At the moment, the Red Lanterns and Fainthearts are still in it, but the Hornets and possibly also the Ice Tulips are going to try for a last minute change.

Deadline is saturday morning 10:00 am as per usual.

Considering some poor draft choices and some bad injury luck, middle of the pack is really the best we could hope for. Only 4 confirmed starters for the final block, but all 4 (Albanese, Venturini, Prades, Van de Paar) could score decently well. Here's hoping, at least.

59ers Block 10:
ALBANESE Vincenzo
VENTURINI Clement
PRADES Eduard
VAN DE PAAR Jarne
CORT Magnus
KRAGH ANDERSEN Soren
ZIMMERMANN Georg

With only 5 confirmed starters it's probably all about Tro Bro Leon.

Cobblers - Block 10
PHILIPSEN Jasper
LOUVEL Matis
WATSON Samuel
ACKERMANN Pascal
VAN MOER Brent
TULETT Ben
VAN DER SANDE Tosh

Just 4 confirmed starters, that one hurts... 3 in Tro Bro Leon, with Cosnefroy also in Morbihan. Einhorn in Elfstedenronde - that's it.
Well, it's actually 5 confirmed starters, but Askey is confirmed both for the Giro and Bro Leon... Sounds a bit wrong Pfft

Defending our Top 10 will be hard or even impossible, unless Cosnefroy does his magic one more time.
