Tinkoff is interested in signing with Enrico Gasparotto, Fabio Sacchi and (of course) Michael Rasmussen.
Simoni is trying to make Selle Italia buy Jose Rujano. Rujano did ride for Selle Italia before going to Quickstep, but when he left he was definitely not happy with Selle Italia. So that may be a problem.
Freddy Rodriguez and Stefano Zanini (both Predictor) will probably not have their contracts extended. |

basically he didn't want to do the Giro, but the team forced him because their wild-card was conditional to him riding (he'd placed third overall and won the mountains jersey the previous year). so, he wasn't happy with the team.
but he didn't behave properly either. on the first mountain stage, he did a half-assed attack, got caught, and as soon as the cameras went by with the other favorites, he abandoned and pretended as if he wasn't feeling well.
his transfer had been arranged for months and planned for after the Giro. that way his Giro was over and he immediately became a Quick.Step rider

Arh, yeah, that's right. I had forgot all about that. Not a very professional behaviour. |

because all i can find is
Discovery Channel's sports director Dirk Demol has denied that an agreement between the squad's Belgian champion Stijn Devolder and Quick.Step-Innergetic has been reached. "There are, as always, four teams interested in Devolder: Rabobank, CSC, Predictor-Lotto and Quick.Step. That an agreement has been reached is nonsense," he said.

According to the manager of Acqua e Sapone Rasmussen also wants to sign for 2008. But he has demanded that he wants 4-5 riders to support him in the mountains, and that mixed with his high wage demand it doesn't seem like Acqua can afford him.

Yep I am also shure for that..Oleg is just to ambition...and dont forget russian. This is worse then spanish and american way to handeling things. Last big blow was ..oh you all know about that already...with Astana. Yes I know this was Kasahh team..but doesnt make any difference. Even when they started they get Kasahh coverment money to waste...this was already non ethical move..(this is almost like ASO idea lets but national teams also in TdF line up) next year every Saudi sheik should own he's own team (if they should care about cycling). Team america..what a beautiful idea..and endless money to spend. Cycling team isnt NASA this is much cheeper to keep.

Watchout for team China. Lots of riders training 16 hours a day and making their own equipment, made in China. |
