Schleck video on youtube.

I couldn't breath for several seconds there. That was kind of shocking. Luckily he seems alright. Shame he missed the lead in the GC Frown But the most important thing is, that he is alright, which it looks like.

Yes it is. But seriously Frank needs to stay a lot more on his bike, he crashes way too much.

What was up with Cunego today? I didnt see the race, so were he just a chicken on the downhill or were he to weak on the climb?

ruben
He was too weak on the climb. He was in 4th position when the attacks started and dropped after a kilo or two/three

Shame about Schleck. He's looking good the Le Tour, he's impressing me alot.

Does anyone know what's up with Gomez Marchante. The guy came 8th in the Vuelta a couple years back, second to Vino up the Ventoux (or was it L'alpe d'huez? I forget) in the Dauphine a few years back, but since he's been shocking, in everything. I used to like this guy, but it appears he has an issue with performing well, at all!

Today's stage sees the riders finish on a 8-kilometres 1st category climb.

Race Situation:

Leading Group:

José Rujano (Caisse d'Epargne), Maarten Tjallingii (Silence-Lotto), Steve Zampieri (Cofidis), David Loosli (Lampre), Philip Deignan (AG2R La Mondiale), Giovanni Visconti (Quick Step), Maxim Iglinsky (Astana), Jens Voigt (Team CSC), Mathias Frank (Gerolsteiner), Johann Tschopp (Bouygues Telecom) and Andreas Dietziker (Team Volksbank)

Peloton at 5.48 with 60 kilometres to go.

I have a feeling that Frank Schleck will try and win today if he's not too hurt that is. Otherwise I think Devolder could win today seeing the finishing climb is a bit shorter than the one on stage 2. Cunego is also among my favourites today.

Go Rujano ! And Voigt !

Xavier
yes i agree with A_Schleck about Frank Schleck maybe winning today :)
I don't expect Cunego tho after what I've seen yesterday from him. He said he's only at 75% of his capability yesterday :)

ruben
I expect Stijn Devolder

This could be a chance for Matthias Frank maybe, I think he's the strongest up front.

Good to see Frank giving it a go. And by Frank I mean Frank Schleck, not Mattias Frank.
