Nope not getting involved
@Rankings
Really interesting to watch the PT developing after 2 GT's. Pokerstars are really impressing me, could they go onto to win?! Both Good Energy and Wikipedia are strong yet again and both must be serious considerations to take the divison title.
ING really slipping away as are Prio. I feel more sad for Prio. Rooting strongly for Bpost to stay up so i can have more chance at cobbles next year
Also way to go SRB! That really bumped them upwards and a top-half is well in reach now.

8th best team in the Vuelta, still lost a position. A bit disappointed by that. But, at this point we seem to be in safe position regarding relegation, unlike many predicted at the start of the season.

Nice to see we are only about 500 points short of our points in comparision with 2013 after SAA is counted in. Still I expected a little bit bigger points haul, actually I got around the same as the last year here in the Vuelta, so it really wasn't the best GT I ever had, as I wrongly thought earlier during the race. From the point of the overall season it is quite good result, it was expected I will gain less points than the last year as we have 2 extra teams in PT, plus in reality I went from Coppel into Sagan (to have a wage available for Hirt as well).
If I can now survive Grand-Duche and Lombardia with only Sagan, TDF and Tasmania with only König and Howard, I should look good in every race left. Still that means I need to make my team way stronger for especially GTs and hilly races for the next season, I had quite a bad Giro, really bad Pais Vasco and so on. This year we are not probably repeating our 4th place from the last year, but still I am looking good for the overall top 10, and that's my team goal, so that's nice.

1023pts from GT without GC rider (Roche will forgive me) is sensational. I wrote before race I´m positive with keeping my PT lead, but didn´t expect to lead with such margin!!!
With Dauphine/Suisse coming, this margin will start melting quickly, though. Only points from not counted Strada Appia can keep us on premium spot after June
Thanks SN for update!

Great reporting throughout SN.
I am quite happy with the point haul from this race. Denifl outperformed expectations, while the other climbers I brought (Pinot, Mai, Atapuma) managed solid results that pushed us up the team standings as well.
Really interestingly poised rankings at both the top and the bottom, should be an exciting next few races that I need to survive without having any of my top riders at.

Alarcon winning a GC is what I would have thought would be very very hard if not impossible but he did it
For us it was just a very disappointing GT, so I hope the Tour might be better as I hope Bennati might be surviving the time cut.
Thanks for the reports SN

Relegation seems like a certainty at this point, better start planing for PCT next year. Machado still has a few races left, which should be fun to watch. Also, I won't stop believing that Costa will become relevant at some point
But congrats again to Simply and... Santander. Despite not winning they really profited from this!
And above all, thank you SN.

The points haul from the Vuelta was highly unsatisfying, and the overall PT result should have been much better at this point. I need to put everything on the Spilak-board now to get my goal of a top 5 in the end.

Nice to be lifted somewhat out of relegation danger, seems like my stage race priority is paying off to some extent. Now for Le Tour! Come on Moldova!

Wait. Did I just see Jose Alarcon winning a GT? THAT Jose Alarcon?
Very impressive ride, late congratulations.
From a personal point of view, Bongiorno wasn't too active in joining breaks, but in the one he did join, it nearly worked out, so that's good experience gained to be a super domestique to Nerz in PCT.
I guess just like everyone, I'm surprised by Mohs and find Guerao's DNF on the last stage to be a very fitting end to his Vuelta.
Preidler winning the KoM is a nice sight and I'm happy for VW that their talents program worked out in this way.
Last but not least, it's never too late to thank for good reports, so thanks SN
