yeah it is St Vincent and the Grenadines, I found it easily recognisable but was far too late.

Unfortunately, the team's with the most inactive D.S's have been winning the last few stages but there we go.......

The penultimate stage is a TTT. We have checkpoints with 24 KM to go (after a long descent) and after 15 KM to go (after the Alto de la Esperanza (4.4 KM @ 10%)).

The main questions to ask are:
-- Will Hernandez creep into the top 10?
-- Will the podium change?

No, it is the Semen Indonesia team setting off the start ramp, they are the first team off the ramp today. Few would be surprised they never looked to compete for victory.

At the first checkpoint it has been all downhill, as a result only the weakest teams are out of the running. Times after checkpoint 1:

-- Banco do Brasil + '2
-- Construtora AJS + '3
-- T-Mobile + '6

Having won a stage in each TOTC so far, except this one, they look like they might challenge for victory today placing high at each checkpoint. But with little attacking and an inactive DS they certainly don't deserve it.

Nokia Ekspla go fastest at the second checkpoint!

The plan to get the polka dots into the top 10 looks to be working as Cartoon Network are well down at the splits.

Borussia Dortmund, after winning the stage 1 TTT, never challenge today.

Celesio, despite starting with only 6 riders, are giving it there all and would finish in the top 10 today. But would it be enough to win the battle for 7th against Muravyev and the 7up train.?

Cartoon Network..... would have one of their lowest points of the tour as they fail to keep Lemoine in the top...

After a very hard climb the leaders at checkpoint 2 are very different, UK Youth have cracked....

Bluebell Creameries go fastest at checkpoint 2.....

They are '2 faster than Nokia @ 40'16, this is doubly good news for the team with a 'an uninterested DS' as Popovych is virtually on the podium with Iberia struggling today.

T-Mobile are up on Construtora AJS at checkpoint 2.....

T-Mobile were '6 down on Bluebell whilst Construtora AJS were '11 down. The GC looks in the bag for Hansen!

T-Mobile come
home with all 9 riders.....

and finish '10 down on Bluebell Creameries and Banco do Brasil that is good enough to see Hansen take the yellow jersey to the final stage. Bluebell Creameries take the win, that is 3 in 4 for them. They beat the longstanding finish time of Banco by milliseconds.

Elsewhere, Popovych moves up into third place and Hernandez moves into the top 10 with one stage to go.

I suspected way more time on Lemoine, but the guy has still 11th, which is pretty great. Now off to a last stage win and maybe a heavy crash on the final kilometer can get us the overall victory too.

Honestly, that whole TTT is way closer than I anticipated. Equal time for the winner teams, only around 50 seconds. Damn, Cartoon Network could have one that for real.

Morkov has crashed! He is the biggest casualty, being second in GC, but Polka dots Hernandez is also floored with carnage juxtaposed all over the road.

The sprinters teams push on the pace as Boaro attacks out of the peloton. All this keeps the pace really high so the dropped riders look to lose plenty of time. Morkov needs a new bike and Kvasina and Ignatiev retire. It is mayhem as Cartoon Network take advantage...

T-Mobile on top!

Hansen did well to avoid the final stage drama and wins the TOTC4, repaying the organisers for giving him the no.1 shirt.

Morkov rolls and tumbles off the podium as his luck ran out today, he ends up in 5th thanks to the calamity of losing 2'50 today. Popovych finishes 2nd and Ghyselinck moves back up to 3rd and will claim the white jersey, though that never looked in doubt!

Hernandez being dropped meant Lemoine does end up in the top 10. Though Hernandez won't be too disheartened after claiming the KOM jersey outright. It was well deserved after he showed his prowess in the mountains which included a stage win in Oman. Super aggressive riders Mizbani, Valjavec and Kozontchuk were not too far behind though.

Dean had the points jersey wrapped up for a number of stages thanks to 2 early wins although he did suffer more than most sprinters in the final week. Schorn, despite not winning a stage, was constantly up there in the sprints and finishes 2nd and multiple stage winner, Sutton, finishes 3rd thanks to a spectacular last week.

T-Mobile comfortably take the team title thanks to a super campaign here led by a tactical super D.S.....
