Andy can't descend with the best, so he'd need a huge gap at the top. Tomorrow will be a stage for Movistar, either Rui Costa or Alejandro Valverde. They need to salvage something besides Quintana's white jersey and top 10.
Should have had money on it... Rui effing rules!!!!! |

Froome and Porte is having to close down sooo many attacks now. If they can just keep this up on Alpe d'Huez.
All it required was kick in pace by Katusa rider, Moreno, and suddenly we were down to 8 men.
Seriously this should not be problem for Sky. Sky had 2 men, so did TST and Movistar.
Had Valverde not broke his wheel and lost ten minutes, the battle for 2nd between Conta and Valve would've been epic I think, since they both have teammates. As it is, the top ten are all pretty intensely fought. |

Quintana is I think trying to finish 2nd overall and Purito may be top 5 in days to come. I cant see anyone challenging Froome. I dont see Froome getting much advantage tomorrow in TT because it is basically 2 hills. I guess Quintana will be up there tomorrow matching Froome. |

Good performance from Cam Meyer.
After Cadel getting dropped early did very well to only finish a minute down. |

Maybe that's what Froome and Contador were trying to re-create... they just got the spot slightly wrong.
And the yellow jersey was supposed the stay on his bike, not go down

Froome seems to be very afraid/nervous at Downhills, hope that Skyborg Engineers, placed a Jetpack in his bike. Otherwise, i can see he's gonna fly hard in Alps xD.
He only seemed not good in corners, as soon as there came a straight, he accelerated like crazy and closed every gap with ease. |

It's not so odd that the Portugese have gotten Costa pegged for this one. After all, they have him as a favourite in every single race he starts in.

Almost forgot: great ride by Dumoulin, finishing 6th in a breakaway like that! |

Yes like last year, Vuelta was amazing. Purito, Valverde and Contador. Very closely matched on mountains. And we saw this attacking ride by all these 3 riders something that we have not seen this year. That time though Froome was way down and not a nuisance (not in a bad way). |

Seems like Contador really did complain that they didn't wait for him after the crash. Someone should tell him that he was the one causing it.

And also a "attack" from Contador, without that they would have had the rest there. |

Maybe Quintana caused it and he was mad at him? Otherwise he shouldn't bitch about it (if he caused it himself). The camera's didn't really show what exactly happened. |

Piss off
Obviously I wouldn't count on Costa for this one if he wasn't on the break, but during the past 2 years he has shown that he can climb very well and read the race in a very intelligent way, hence he had to be considered favourite. |

Froome was in front. Contador was the one following him, so not that sure Contador cause it.
But not reason for the others to wait for them

Oh, sorry then.
On the replay I saw Froome crashing and Contador behind him so that's why I thought it was Froome that caused it

Either way, he shouldn't be mad at Quintana.

Your mistaken.
They did wait for them so not sure where you get this from. |
