Hesjedal story? Why not?
79MO & 80HI would be a little bit ridiculous if you ask me, but ok, if it's motivates you
Agree there I'd say 79 and 78, or 78 and 78 something. But in the end it's up to you to decide, Jak |

78/78 with very good recovery, probably around 6th-12th best but Im not sure what the best stat is for that, so its hard to give an actual number.
78/78 is still better stats than he had when I did my Hesjedal story

Just saw "The Two of Us" banner in Mre's signature!
Ian and Mre?
The two best story writers (imo) working together?
Holy crap! I'm pumped |

Is it me or has this been obvious for like a few months now? And i must be the only person who thinks it won't work as collaboration stories have an even worse record than anything else

It isn't just you, it was pretty obvious for few months to me, too. And yep, I share your opinion. I don't think this will work, but that might be just my opinion.
I am sitting here, waiting to be proven wrong.

We (Ian and I) will be happy to prove all the doubters wrong.
Last year I proved a story that starts even before the game is released can be a success and this year I hope to prove that again along with breaking the curse of the collaboration stories.

@TMM: I knew Ian was doing a new one, but for some reason I never saw Mre's signature and missed the talk of it
And I personally think it will work well, but I guess we'll see |

Yeh. Ill see. I like to win races overall but I will see what stats he has when I get the game and assess it then. Once I see the stats of the other riders it will be easier to see

I stand by what I said on the last page; either a fantastic story or a flop.

I'm glad there are these guys who think it'll fail miserably. That way we can only positively surprise them
Let's show how well a collaboration story can work! Not long to go, now! |

Just a quick post here mainly directed at people who have taken a pretty long break from a story and actually continued it at some point. Does it feel nice to see your story on the front page again? I certainly liked it

You could've easily said "look at my story, everyone" instead of that whole text.

^Well, Admir, you could've said right away that you wanted to be a Mod, but, instead, you were always watching out for off-topic posts and whtv... So, why can't Cycleman do the same (not saying you are Cycle, just supposing here)? |

Hah, really? Of course I wanted to become a mod as I sent an application, is that hard to get? It was just one situation (Aquarius-Facepalm pic) and I would still post the same if I was in that situation. The message looked rude at that point for me despite that Ewan is fucking biased and he was so wrong there. The other situations were sarcastic ones (hopefully you realized that).
Oh, look, it's General Story Discussion Thread and we're waaay off topic.

Just helping our point there Anyway, I wanted to ask some of you guys something. Should I
1) Continue my current story. I want to do this, but I just wanted to know how hard it would be to change to PCM 14, which I would need to do unless someone has a spare player key for PCM 13. Anyone?
2) Start a new one when PCM 14. I know what I'm going to do if I do this.

*Generic do what you want to do comment*
Changing a db over to a new game can be done, and it has been done before by various people. It's not a really simple task and could depend on how different the new PCM14 .cdb is from the PCM13 one. With the career changes they speak of it might not be as easy as in the past.
If you are getting PCM14 that would probably be the best option. Probably more likely to keep motivation as well as being easier to set up (idea dependent)

What if I just copy names and stats? Would that be pretty simple?

No, it's way harder than just copying names and stats. Equipment, sponsors, regions, scouts, talents, basically whole CDB needs to be changed. Not saying that it's impossible, but it's really hard.
