Also I haven't seen it said, but that's a great result for Durbridge. Good to see one young Australian TT rider living up to their promise.

Looks grim for Hesjedal. I can see him pulling 2+ mins on Wiggins over coming mountain stages but over Nibbles? Less realistic.
It was eleven more than necessary.

Garate missed his start time?!
But yeah, I was surprised as well when that time came across when Intxausti was in his last km.

I'm hoping it's a timing error.

Garate has missed his start time. He has to run onto the start ramp and he starts straight away.

Nice win for Dowsett. Glad he is now at a team that lets him ride the GTs - though didnt expect him to win today.
Only person who will be happier than him today will be Nibali. If he wasnt already the #1 favourite for the Giro, he has to be now.

Also, Gesink in the GC Top 3! That surprises me a bit, but he'll crash eventually

This is your first realistic comment , connected to Blanco.

Issoisso said I'm too biased, so I'll try to be honest from now.
Nah, it's probably not my first one. Actually, I was surprised by Gárate's performance a few posts ago, that's a realistic comment as well, I guess

Actually as the first week is almost over and the nervousness becomes calmer in the peleton, considering most crashes happen in first week and with gaps made, Gesink stands a chance of not falling maybe till the end? Let's hope so at least
Can't believe Dowsett won, fantastic.

So how much time was he late?
Maybe it was only 5 seconds. Still it would be a unexpectedly good time from Juanma.

Millar, 3rd best odds finished 195th, 14:10 behind Dowsett
So, now that the Giro is virtually over for Wiggins, do you see any chance for Uran and Henao to ride for themselves? |

Very good performance by Nibali, did not expect him to be so close to Wiggins. And Cadel Evans looks like serious threat now. |

Yeah I don't get it. Sporza is always looking for the Dutch and talking about them etc etc, but you Dutchies probably don't give a rat's ass about us Belgians on your television during the races |
