Let me tell you about Preben Elkjær, the man that was known for being so lazy he'd cry if he had to run 10 meters without the ball

I really hope Denmark wins in Tirana and almost secures a spot at the World Cup. A second place would be bitter with the position we are ind, but i do fear the Swedes. The play off could be cruel. Possible opponents: France, Germany/Russia or Croatia. I wouldn't give the danish nor the swedish team many chances against these teams. |

Not to be mean but I hope Denmark loses in Tirana. If that happens they will be "obliged" to win or draw against Sweden. Otherwise, they might take it easy against their fellow Scandivians. |

Doubt Denmark will go easy on Sweden, we are arch enemies, like England and France, all players will give 110% in a match like that.

Maybe more like England and Scotland, than England and France?

What? A scandinavian aliance? No way, that's impossible, that's pure speculation... They are the biggest rivals... Ever...
At least that's what they'll say. On the other hand, Euro 2004 comes to mind

There are accusations from Italians and the game we all saw. My eyes agree with the Italians. Anyway, I just hope you are right.

No the Italians accused us of fixing the game even before the game started

Yep, but we all saw the match. And couldn't help but agree with the Italians.
Funny, Tomasson didn't complain about that "aquisition"

That day ranks as being one of the best parties I've ever attended. Went to Copenhagen's town hall square and watched the match on a large screen along with thousands of other Danes and Swedes. It was a brilliant match, many goals, ups and downs -- and in the end, we got rid of the Italians and had a huge party with all the Swedes after the match
About yesterday's match, as mentioned previously, couldn't really see it. Had my mobile tv on and 'hidden' - but 1 point is great |

Actually, in football, England and Germany is the big rivalry (at least for the English) because of the history between the two sides. That's why the 5-1 win in Munich in 2001 is remembered so much over here.
Speaking of rivalries, it's a big match for England on Wednesday against Croatia. A draw is enough to progress, but hopefully the players will be motivated to win after they denied us qualification to the Euros last time around by beating us at Wembley. |

If the round had stopped 5mins pre hand it would have been a superb round, making us only need 1 pts to qualify...
Now instead we have to settle for a good round, getting another point against Portugal putting them out of the competition for direct qualification.
We still have to beat Albania away and Hungary at home. Not all that easy really... If we are to conclude from what Sweden and Portugal has proved against those teams it will actually be very difficult.
But then again. 1 point against Sweden and we are untouchable... |

After fouling the defender the way he did, even humpty dumpty could've scored
That said, I couldn't possibly care less about the result. I didn't see the game, nor will I ever see any games or care in the slightest about the team as long as it continues to be an assortment of Portuguese guys and a Brazillian.
I used to care back when it was the portuguese national team.

Or England vs. Germany. There are many, and better options than England - France |

Imo even if he fouled, that has to be some class act to get the ball dropping dead at your feet on a cross aiming for his head only to smash the ball into the net with your wrong leg (Which he has said tons of times before is his main weakness) - I would like to see some standard attacker score that goal. Zlatan and Drogba are the 2 attackers I find the most likely to score a similar goal... |
