Well yes, I completely understand why you could have assigned Travis Meyer to me.
What I don't understand is why this was enforced, while other people had a chance to correct their mistakes.
And what I understand least of all is why you say it cannot be changed now.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

You havn't made a mistake, that might be where this confusion is. You failed to specify a Meyer, so i gave you the available one.
If you made the mistake of specifying Cameron, then i would have gone to your next available choice, who was Howard.
Only one person has had to change a mistake, and if i did not allow that, then he would only have 3 riders as opposed to 4. FroomeDog's mistake was very different to your omission, they are not comparable.
It cannot be changed, because nothing has gone wrong, against the rules etc.

I ended up with a rider I don't want, so something has definitely gone wrong.
It can be changed, as Howard has not been drafted yet.
Logicaly thinking, here's what the change would do:
- For me, it would help a lot
- For you, you would have to a bit of extra work to make the change in your notes. On the other hand, you would make one of your players happier.
- For any other players, nothing changes
It seems to be a question if you want to do the change or not.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ollfardh
If you did not want him, then you should have specified that you wanted Cameron.
Howard has not been drafted, so if you want him you can draft him now.
The round has passed and is closed.
If i had made a mistake, then i would happily correct that.
You are the one who made the mistake of not specifying which Meyer you wanted.
If you have an issue with can't... fine, i WON'T change it for the reasons i've made clear.

I'm sorry if I've made a mistake in my lists... I trusted the Excel file this round, so I'm not sure if it's right.
And about the Meyer case:
We have a problem here, Ollfardh announced that he will leave the game. That's a problem. 1. I don't want him to leave. 2. How will we continue now?

@Jesl
your list is perfect!
Most lists are fine, and its only ever 1 or two riders (unless your FroomDog)
I have no idea about Ollfardh.
Without meaning offense, thats just childish
Here was his list:
Spoiler Meyer Phinney Quintana Matthews Boivin Betancur van Rensburg Howard Durbridge Anacona Chavez Pantano Rathe Brenes Sergent Bobridge
Considering all riders (excluding Meyer) were U23 its safe for me to assume that he has made sure all riders meet restrictions.
I then thought, "oh he must mean Cameron not Travis. But i thought Cameron was 24" quick check, "hmmm must mean Travis then, hes 23. Yeah thats got to be it"
So i gave him Travis Meyer.
I dont see how i've made any mistakes here... If i have can someone point it out
I hope Ollfardh reads this to see more of how i made the decision

Nobody wants this! But it's only a game and i think is a bit exaggerated his reaction. Plus the rider is Howard not Contador or one that can (in PCM) win alone... |

What will happen with the WT position if he quits? (I ask since I was closest to a WT position) |

I think everyone is going over the top.
I think TMM has made a mistake in not taking out punishments on those others who have made mistakes before.
I think Oll made a complete eejit of himself by not putting an initial on the front of a rider who EVERYONE IN CYCLING KNOWS THERE IS MORE THAN 1 MEYER IN PRO CYCLING!
Solution: Give the guy Howard, move on and TMM, anybody who makes uncorrected mistakes with their lists from now on automatically loses their pick totally! |

Hey, like I said before, I don't blame you for making the assumption that I wanted Travis Meyer. It's your unwillingness to do something about it that made me leave the game.
Welwyn: I couldn't agree more. I was a complete idiot for not specifying which Meyer, cause I thought it was obvious. But as you say, it could've been solved with
TMM: "Ollfardh, you're a complete idiot. Have Howard but make one more mistake and I'll take away 5 draft picks"
Ollfardh: "Yes Sir, sorry Sir!

I agree with Welwyn. Obviously the mistake (not rule infraction) Ollfardh made could cost him this rider if everyone else who didn't send correct lists had a punishment and the rules were tight and clear for those rule violation cases.
Because like TMM said this is a beta version who will be improved i don't see why people should botter that he gets Howard. I also think this is no reason for Ollfardh leave the game, it's not just his place on WT that is in discussion, it's the riders he drafted and created. |

Daggen
I've got it
So now only need 4/5 lists.
@nils erik
I need to think. For now i'm trying to keep Ollfardh in the game, if possible.
@Welwyn
No-one before had made that mistake.#
The only issues have been listing pre-drafted riders or ineligible riders in the restricted rounds. None of these picks were ever first choice. This is a first time occurrence of any such issues.
The mistake from FroomeDog was a very different mistake, and he now will have almost no leniency.
I'm not going to give him Howard for the reasons i have stated.
1. He picked Meyer as first choice
2. Both Meyers had not been drafted
3. Only one Meyer was eligible, Travis
4. He failed to specify that he wanted Cameron
5. Thus he got the eligible Meyer
6. I am very reluctant to go back and change the results
7. If i had made the mistake i would be happy to change it
8. He made the omission, so why should he benefit from a change?
@Ollfardh
I am willing to discuss my decision. I can give you the benefit of the doubt if i make an error at a later stage.
But its unfair to the other 27 teams to change the results because of an omission you made. If you had put down a C or a Cameron there would be no issues at all, but you failed to make that distinction. I cannot undo a mistake you made to benefit you.
