Well, after reading I also disagree with myself (), i might have chosen a few wrong words, my apologies for that.
But my point is that we will never be able to decide which fans are arrogant and which not.

I understand what you mean with your point, but again I disagree. Place a poll on a random site(not this site, not enough Dutchies), which club they think is the most arrogant, and Ajax will be chosen the most, despite that they have the most fans.

I also disagree. Of the 17 current non-Roda Eredivisie clubs I only have something against Ajax (the arrogance thing I mentioned) and VVV (local rivals). I do prefer Roda of course, but it's not that I hate every other club because of that. I also have sympathy for Heracles and PSV (the latter because of my best friends), and thanks to some Daily members also for AZ, Utrecht and Feyenoord.

Quite quiet over here. Time for me to break the silence.
Roda wins 3-1 against RKC, the difference between number 15 RKC and 16th-placed Roda is now 1 point, while Roda has an easier program. It's a great birthday gift for me (I'm turning 16 tomorrow) I guess.

This. Ajax is always better 2nd half of the season while the other teams can't handle the pressure.
@CT who (Eriksen, Fischer and Andersen) is seen as the biggest talent in Denmark?
Obviously Poulsen
But yes, maybe indeed better at this stage of the season, but definitely arrogant too. Ask around. (As long as you don't live close to Amsterdam) Most of the people(non Ajax-fans obviously) will say that they absolutely dislike Ajax, mainly because of their arrogance
Just to clear this up. Who's arrogant? The players? The fans? Ajax has fans all over the Netherlands (and the rest of the world). So does being a fan of Ajax automatically makes you arrogant? Is every muslim a terrorist? Is every American fat?
I hate that way of thinking...
On-topic:
Ajax needs to win at home against Willem II and it's done for the third time in a row.

Both sometimes.
At first, the club itself, the atmosphere around it, can't really explain that better.
They tend to sign some arrogant players as well, and a lot of the fans(most of them the real fanatic fans) are very arrogant as well. That's maybe because 'Amsterdammers' are considered a bit arrogant as well in most parts of the country...
Being an Ajax fan doesn't make you arrogant at all, obviously

Good to know.
I don't think the players are any more arrogant than players from PSV, Feyenoord or even Twente and Vitesse. Pelle looks pretty arrogant too, not to mention Lens.
It's true that a lot of Amsterdam people are known to be arrogant. I know people from all 3 big cities and I can tell you there's not much difference except for their accent. I don't hang out with any fanatic football fans, because they are mostly brainless idiots (doesn't matter which club they support).
IMO Ajax is a football club like any other.

Just noticed that Markus Henriksen has been voted "Player of the Year" in AZ. To those of you who keep a closer eye on the league then I do, has he really been that good?
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Didn't hear about it, but now I google it, that's just something from a fan-page...
Nah, he didn't stand out IMO. Wasn't bad, but wasn't that great, Maher & Altidore were better.
SSJ2Luigi should be able to answer this better though, as a AZ-fan...

Even tough I didn't followed foreign footbal except for Champions League, Europa League and National teams, I think that overall, nobody from AZ probably stood out, at least looking at their league position. |

AZ deserves to be higher than this, tbh, but yeah, you've got a point there.
Maher is a great talent though, Arsenal & Manchester City were interested in him, but he wanted to stay at the Eredivisie for now, he's just 19.

Cambuur promoting to Eredivisie
How many games before the end are they relegated?

I like Cambuur being promoted, I'd love to see some more historical clubs like Go Ahead and Sparta in the Eredivisie, instead of clubs like RKC. I think Cambuur ends 16th or 17th next year, so it'll be some games AFTER the end.

Who ends up 18th then? I believe Sparta could beat VVV in the play-offs

Sparta / VVV or RKC / Volendam.

I estimate RKC higher than Cambuur and I think Volendam doesn't promote. I did think about PEC last year the same as about Cambuur now, so Berlin better watches out!
