You're having a very nice run of strong results here at the moment. Both the team and Ian are doing really good. And I also like the transfer of Sergent. He should bring in some good results as well. Keep it up!

Race Preview
"A mostly flat stage in Lancashire, my home county. Blackpool is the British Champs-Elysees so the sprinters will have this marked in their books as an absolute must win." Local lad Bibby was straight on the attack as soon as he left Rochdale. He took the first KoM sprint easily before sitting up to wait for some company. Even though these are Ian's training roads, he still didn't fancy doing them solo.
He was eventually joined by eleven more riders including Gilbert of Spidertech and Morkov of Saxo Bank. They pulled about six minutes clear of the peloton. Bibby won all of the KoM points on offer today so he would have the polka dot jersey tomorrow at least.
On the steepest climb of the day, there was a huge split in the bunch which caught out lots of big riders. Radioshack and Liquigas had to ride hard to get back on which they did, but over fifty riders never got back on and their GC chances were already over. Included in there were Porte, Flecha, Langeveld, Maaskant, Nordhaug and Fischer.
Sky and BMC were doing all the chasing on the front. BMC working for Hushovd, Sky just working because they have to in their home race. However, when Quinziato crashed, BMC stopped chasing and the pace dropped.
With the peloton admitting defeat to the breakaway, Dekker decided he wasn't ready to give up on the overall and attacked. It would prove a great decision as he gained a minute and a half on the peloton. Surprisingly, nobody else did likewise.
With ten kilometres to go, Bibby tried to get away from his companions. Unfortunately, Colnago's Di Corrado followed and would not cooperate with Ian. It was really poor from the Italian, and the duo would be brought back in the last four kilometres.
Coming into Blackpool, there was a massive pile up in the peloton. As if the day hadn't been eventful enough, the crash brought down Thomas, Fuglsang, Monfort, Hincapie and Ballan and delayed the likes of Uran, Froome and Quinziato. This race is already a write-off for the majority of the field.
At the end of a remarkable day, it was Martin Gilbert who took the win on the promenade in Blackpool ahead of Morkov and Eskov. Bibby finished eighth but looks good for the rest of the week. The peloton lost two and a half minutes, Endura being the only team with all of their riders in there. Incredible start.

"That was unexpected! To be two and a half minutes ahead of all of the favourites at the end of a short, flat stage is a dream and I should be able to get a good result now. I'm the best climber of those in that front group today so I should be able to gain some places in the tougher stages. Also, the KoM jersey is mine and I want to take that all the way although I'm not going to be able to get in breaks now. Seeing the likes of Flecha and Porte losing over eleven minutes on a stage like this is baffling but that always seems to happen in the ToB, a race defining split, and if you don't make it, it's game over."

"The traditional Stoke on Trent stage takes in some tough Staffordshire roads and should be more difficult than yesterday. However, considering how difficult yesterday turned out to be, I'm not sure what to expect!" "Well, today will be another day attacking. Race Report
An early group that eventually swelled to thirteen riders escaped very quickly. It looked like the peloton would let them go at first, but they were reeled back in once the terrain got a bit more gentle.
After that, local boy Tennant went on the attack and was stunned to find nobody else go with him. He was all alone and it was going to be a hard day for Andy. Nevertheless, he got down to it and pulled out over six minutes.
As the peloton hit the brutal Gunn Hill at over 10% gradient, there was again another big split in the peloton. Just like yesterday, these 70+ riders would never make it back. Nordhaug, Nuyens, Cancellara and Modolo were all gone.
Ian Bibby was wearing the polka dot jersey today and with only one man up the road, there were more points on offer. Unfortunately, he was boxed in on Gunn Hill and couldn't pick up anything but on the second climb he did get some points. Sensible riding from Bibby.
Spidertech were doing everything they could to bring back Tennant but with no help from Sky or any other teams, they just weren't strong enough and Tennant was incredibly pulling away in the last twenty kilometres!
An absolutely sensational 100km solo ride from Tennant gave him a brilliant win by over three minutes in Stoke and gives him the leader's jersey. What a ride by young Andy.
Could the day get any better for Endura? Oh yes it could, as Wilkinson, Downing and Bibby led the peloton home for a 1-2-3-4 for the British team. We seem to be the only ones that are actually taking this race seriously but that's not our fault. The best day in the team's history.

"I have no words for that! 1-2-3-4 in the Tour of Britain, wow! A ridiculous ride by Tennant doing a 100km time trial and then we all stayed out of trouble again and reaped the benefits at the end. I'm up to fifth now as a lot of yesterday's successful break got dropped and I still have the polka dot jersey. This race has started too well, but the next two stages have some tough finishes. What a day."

Race Preview
"This stage is arguably the most difficult in the race as the peloton travels through Wales. We have to tackle Black Mountain and then at the end, the short, sharp climb of Constitution Hill in Swansea. This will be difficult." "We are in a wonderful position in the GC with all of our guys except Thwaites right up there. We have to get a man in the break and then after that it's every man for himself pretty much but we need to keep the yellow jersey." "Well, I still have the polka dot jersey but can't really do anything about it. Race Report
Today's breakaway contained just six riders, Smith present for Endura, meaning plan a had been accomplished. Other riders in there were Modolo, Moser, Thomel, Khatuntsev and Sergio Sousa.
In typically stunning Welsh surroundings, Accent Jobs were the surprising leaders of the peloton along with Garmin. Brambilla of Colnago had just tried an attack but got nowhere and was brought back quickly. The group of six were just three minutes up the road now.
On to the hellish Black Mountain and the 22% climb thinned the breakaway down to four as Modolo ploughed on, taking Smith, Thomel and Cam Meyer, who had bridged across just before the climb, with him. The peloton took it fairly easy over this climb but there were still plenty of splits.
Cancellara, who has already lost buckets of time, leapt out of the peloton soon after the climb, taking Nuyens with him. The Saxo Bank man couldn't stay with Fabian for long as the Swiss champion tried to catch the front group. Flecha also attacked but got nowhere near as far as Cancellara.
On to Constitution Hill and Smith put the hammer down, quickly getting rid of Thomel and Meyer. Modolo hung on for a while but Smith's quality soon showed and he hit the summit with a clear advantage. Just the final descent ahead now.
And the race just keeps getting better for Endura as Smith takes his second win as a stagiaire by nearly a minute over Modolo. Cancellara beat Meyer to third, with Nuyens and Flecha both passing Thomel at the finish. Now we had to wait.
And again, Endura were the only team paying attention as Tiernan-Locke jumped away from the bunch to get eighth, with Downing, Bibby and Faiers all gaining time aswell in tenth, eleventh and twelfth. Incredibly enough, with Tennant a bit further back, Smith takes the lead of the race. What a talented rider this boy is.

"This race is just getting ridiculous now! Two stage wins and now we have 1-2-3 on GC as well as seven riders in the top twelve. No other teams seem to have come here with any interest in doing anything which is making it so easy for us. Maybe it's because everyone has already gone too deep in the season and everybody's knackered. Either way, we'll take this! Unfortunately, I lost the KoM jersey to Modolo today but in the circumstances I don't think it really matters!"

Race Preview
"Another tough hilly stage, this time in the South West, JTL's home region. The nasty short ramps near the finish will decide the winner of today's stage. There are plenty of KoM points available today." "No breakaway today for us, we're going to control the race from here on in as we can't let this great position slip away. It's gonna be a hard day for the likes of Wilkinson and Faiers. JTL would love to win here as the stage finishes in Devon, where he comes from." "A day of sitting in the bunch again for me today. Race Report
Again, today's break was six-strong. Maaskant, Fuglsang, Nordhaug, van Poppel, Cornu and McNally were trying to salvage something from this race. Maaskant and Fuglsang were trading blows at the KoM sprints but neither of them would overtake Modolo today.
We took on the responsibility today and set to work pulling the group back. Monstrous efforts from Thwaites, Wilkinson, Downing and, in particular, Faiers saw the group caught with over twenty kilometres to go. With the attacks then coming thick and fast, Faiers stayed on the front for fifteen kilometres straight, bringing everybody back single-handedly.
In to the final few little climbs, British champion Froome was the next one to try and get away from the Endura machine. This attack was timed perfectly and, with Froome being so far back on GC, Endura weren't too fussed.
BMC's van Avermaet joined Froome but was embarrassingly outsprinted by the Sky man, who was able to show off his jersey to the home crowd. Despite the mammoth effort he'd put in, Faiers outsprinted everyone else to take third. Not human. Tiernan-Locke, Smith and Bibby all finished in this group aswell, Tennant losing some more time but just keeping second place overall.

"Another great day for us as we now have five guys in the top seven! Tom Faiers was super human today and deserves a medal. He'll have to make do with a third as well as moving up to seventh overall. I gained some time back on Tennant and the fact that we're having an inter-team battle for second shows how dominant we have been. I cannot believe this race so far but we're only halfway through and we now have four flat stages to prevent any well placed riders from gaining too much time on us."

Race Preview
"Today should be the final stage where a you can lose time. Some tough hills near the start make way for flat roads on the run-in. And with the three remaining stages being pan flat, however the GC looks tonight, should be the way it finishes." "All we need to do is protect the yellow jersey. We will only chase if there is a danger to our GC position. It's up to the bigger teams to pull breaks back if they want a bunch sprint." "I still have a chance of getting the climber's jersey back and there are a few points available at the start today. If I can win this first big climb today, I will retake the lead. Race Report
Straight out of the start, Bibby was on the attack on the hard, categorised climb. He crossed the summit first to pick up ten points and retake the lead in the KoM competition. He then sat up and fell back into the peloton, his day was over.
The successful breakaway only consisted of three riders. Cantwell of Saxo Bank, De Wilde of Accent Jobs and Michael Hepburn of GreenEdge. None of them were any danger on the overall, so the race just kept getting easier for Endura.
It was Radioshack and Liquigas trying to pull the trio back, attempting to set up a sprint win for their fast men, Nizzolo and Sabatini, respectively. They were certainly going quickly enough and the gap was flying down.
But yet another split in the peloton caught out around 70 riders, who would never make it back. The best placed riders who missed the split were David Millar, yesterday's stage winner Froome and Rigoberto Uran. They would lose nearly seven minutes on the main bunch.
The peloton caught the breakaway but not Hepburn. The Aussie time triallist rode away from the other two and soloed to the win. Navardauskas, Hincapie and McCartney broke away near the end to gain a few seconds on the peloton. Modolo won the bunch sprint for fifth and Endura stayed safe in the bunch.

"I got my spotty jersey back! Yay! I managed to get those points at the start and now I have three flat stages to hang on to it. I have to have my eyes on stalks to watch for Modolo and Maaskant who are the closest to me. Other than that, it was a nice quiet day with another massive split in the bunch. I really can't understand why people keep getting caught out and losing silly time. Millar dropped out of fourteenth and both Froome and Uran continued Sky's miserable race by completely disappearing from the top twenty. Three to go."

Race Report
A big breakaway established itself today as twelve riders enjoyed the peaceful Norfolk coast. Fortunately, there was no wind today, otherwise it could have been a brutal day. The best placed rider in there was Brandle of NetApp, who was just over fifteen minutes down on Smith.
We were absolutely stunned to see that none of the teams with sprinters were interested today and the gap soon ballooned to fifteen minutes. The yellow jersey was in danger so the team sprung into action and we soon had a much more comfortable cushion.
Back at the front, Mouris and Brandle decided that, due to their lack of sprint speed, they would work together to get away. They had a minute on the others, but would they be able to hold the bigger group off as they wound it up in Great Yarmouth.
Yes, they would, and Brandle proved tactically superior as he forced Mouris to lead him out and then leapt around him to take the win. Trussov won the sprint for third ahead of Ryan Anderson. Nearly eight minutes later, Impey won the bunch sprint but Endura were very happy to cruise over the line one day closer to a huge result.

"I don't understand why teams would bring sprinters if they're not going to try to win the stages. The likes of Modolo, Sabatini, Hushovd and Nizzolo must be frustrated with their teams' lack of faith in them. HTC would never have let that group get away on a flat stage like that. Unbelievable. So we had to get on the front just to protect the lead, we weren't riding to try to catch the break. Anyway, two stages to go."
