What I think, is that the NBA needs serious realignment. Probably something drastic, similar to NHL. The leagues are so unbalanced. My Mavericks are in 9th place in the West, and would be third in the East 
This why I don't watch the NBA much anymore

Completely missing the point welker. Your Mavericks would be third in the East? So...so many other teams would be third in the East as well. Just so the West is dominant at this phase means they have to realign...if you look at NHL realignment look what happened this year. All the points are in, ahem, the West....which actually has steeper competition yet fewer teams. 
Your typical my team is not gonna make the playoffs so i am gonna complain about the system and thus not watch it anymore excuse.

But at least the NHL tried to make the conferences more even
I just find it ridiculous, that there are two teams in the East are above 500 against the West

Anyone else watch the end of the Rockets/Wizards game? That was an amazing ending. I usually don't get excited about regular season games but this was one of them that had me very entertained

Okay, The Syracuse and Pitt ending was almost 10 times as better and that was an amazing shot.

If Lebron wins that would be it for me.. if Durant loses to someone else, I can't imagine who, that might be reasonable. Although Durant surely is #1 favorite right now.

I doubt you are watching the right coverage people, there is only nr.1 in NBA and that is Lebron James, with all he does for the team. Durant is closer and closer, but still not enough to be awarded best world player though... 
On a more serious note, regular season is not the most important time for Miami and Lebron. They are bulding for third consecutive title whole season and playoffs will show who is the best. (last year where Lebron defeated Indiana almost alone in game 6 and 7 come to my mind). So yep, Durant can win MPV, but that is not worth much for James i think, title is the goal.
And look at FG percentage, 6 percent differential...Durant shoots,shoots and shoots, no wonder he is best scorer.

That was an intense game between Houston and Portland last night, though as usual we f*ck up the lead and crumble in the first quarter..
My friend showed me a video (he was at the game) of a Blazers fan getting punched in the gut after he screamed "You Suck" while Dwight was shooting a free throw...

Huh how you so sure Memphis and Dallas?, ok becuase their getting beat down arent they? GSW they suck too lol? James Harden has stunk it up dude have you watched both games? If Houston get swept how bad will that look clearly not a franchise player or the closer were told he is at the moment is he?
I never said D12 is not great i said it's now time for him to match up with Lamarcus Aldridge who is killing Terrence Jones and Asik. |

Rockets probably won't win the series barring a big miracle but I want you to justify your claims please.
1) If Harden sucks, please name 5 shooting guards that are better than him. Also explain why 2 games are sufficient to judge a player. I've watched tons of games this season when he has come up big in the closing seconds. I will give credit to you if he continues to play poorly in the next 2 games.
2) What has Harden done to become annoying?
3) Why do the Rockets suck? They tried to go from Mediocre - > good which is harder than Rock Bottom -> Good (obviously no high draft picks), and we've built a young core of emerging stars that are only getting better.
4) Don't you think D12 will foul out easily if you put him on LA? Then you have Asik for the rest of the game. From yesterday's game clearly they need him for offensive purposes as well.
5) Please give valid arguments as to why Houston will get swept for sure, and also give valid arguments as to why Houston will lose to Memphis, Dallas, and Golden State for sure.
I am interested in hearing your response.

You really proved my point with the first point "they probably wont win barring a miracle". So that is good isit with 2 huge players?.
1. I never said Harden is not a top guard but not one bad game it's two bad games on home floor.
2. You must be so biaased as you surely no why he is annoying he is worst than LBJ at flopping how many times does he look for the foul. Also his stupid little hand movement when he hits his jumper.
3. The Rockets suck because they should be going into the 2nd round their better than Portland, case closed.
4. Yes he may well but as they said Lamarcus is shooting over a chair when guarded by Terrence Jones(who i like alot btw) so surely a change is worth a try, lets see how game 3 is panning out then change.
5. I just thought it was funny when Maxime was saying how they would beat all other 4 teams. Because Portland are hardly better than the rest not bye much. Memphis physicality is very good doing ok v Thunder to nick a game in OKC(leading now aswell and OKC>Houston). Dallas just crushed the Spurs and GSW well ill say no more.
I just think it's embarrasing how Harden is playing he is payed good money to do it in playoffs the good thing i suppose is surely he cant have 3 bad games in a row and is Lamarcus going to keep this hot? But not looking good for Harden he was poor a few times in playoffs now. I also think D12 is doing ok i still think he can do so much more though only 7 second half points yesterday. He has all the talent. |

Bottom line, Houston is a young team. What do young teams do? They do well in the regular season but tend not to play full games in the playoffs, I would actually rate them and Portland evenly, don't see the need to set a ridiculously high bar
On Harden:
1) He will never be a shooter of the caliber of Durant or Kobe a few years ago, more than half of his game is dribble penetration, and when you drive to the hoop you are often rewarded with the call, I don't see why you should judge a player based on his style.
2) Are you referring to his "low three finger thing" when he hits a three? He patented that sign a few years ago, I can see how that can come off as a bit annoying but it's not something massive imo. I don't pay much attention to it, only the most dirty players in the league catch my attention.
