He deserves better than those stats if he constantly stays 2nd in all mass sprint finishes. This is not to diss him out, but it might have been a break of luck and great form.
Also, what's everyone's predictions for tomorrow's race?

Crue, I made a mistake with the image while you were posting and posted the 6th stage profile instead. It's now corrected with the 7th. Not much different, but it has a couple of hills in there. |

Well, a stage like yesterday then. A smaller group of riders (~90) with sprinters in-between will battle it out for the win. |

Yeah I know, he's no freire, Boonen or Zabel but I've got to stick up for one of my riders! For tomorrow, I think it'll all come right for Boonen. |

I know Bettini said he's trying to stay for 2 weeks in the Vuelta and then he's out to have some time to prepare for the Worlds. Is Freire or any other sprinter doing the same? |

Freire is definately dropping out, and he's in sensational form yet again, just before the worlds! How does he do it? I think Bettini's a long shot, he's past his best. I imagine there will be quite a few withdrawls before the third week. |

Now I'm confused. Crue said Freire said more than once he would stay until the end, although I admit it's wiser for him to quit earlier to preparate for the Worlds. But if Freire and Bettini are out, that leaves Bennati in charge, or he is going to race the Worlds too? |

I know for a fact that Freire won't complete La Vuelta. |

My mistake then. What about Bennati? |

I think he'll go on to the end, but I don't know. |
