Yeah, amazing after a very good season. Hard worked for, well deserved. And it was an exciting competition; only 0.02 seconds difference after run 1.
The speed skating not so great though. We expected two medals, with at least gold for our men team...
Sure, we knew the women had a though draw against Germany... but no medal for either pursuit team is a big dissapointment.
Kramer will have to wait another 4 years I guess... |

Sweden win gold, in Sweden. I'm sure that would be better.

The team pursuit was really dissapointing. Everyone expected a gold medal there, as we have the strongest riders too choose from. Also I didn't expect the Canadian women to get eliminated in the first round, because they were the big favourites for gold there.
We can still go for bronze against Norway though. The men's finale will be interesting too: USA vs. Canada. |

Ice Hockey final on Sunday night is USA vs Canada, that is going to be such a good match. Can't wait.

it's the game everybody was hoping for in terms of a rivalry but in terms of just plain skill everybody wanted Russia against Canada in the gold medal game. But personally I think that this game will be way more exciting.

I watched the figure skating gala last night, it was enjoyable. (For those who don't know, it's not a competition, it's a show).
Bobsleigh too, well done USA 1 for winning that in very dominant style.

Alright, here's a quick unofficial poll.
Canada vs USA - Who will win?
I'm going for Canada.

Boring.
Real question:
Bauer vs. Northug vs. Cologna or one of the swedish starters who really seem to be in great form.
my bet is on Bauer, seemed to be the best in classic style so far. |

I´m Czech and wishing Bauer all the best, but don´t believe he´ll win. My bet is Northug, Olsson and Veerpalu can surprise as well.

I'll say Canada in the hockey and Northug in the 50km.
Canada must win this one really I'm just hoping for a good match, which Im sure it'll be.
And about Northug, well. I'm not into skiing at all, but when I saw Northug in the relay or teamsprint last week, sprinting like twice as fast as the rest, I just had to be cheering for him. |
