Not really. He has changed his license to Luxembourg, but that has no influence on his citizenship, which country he rides for in WCs, etc. |

Are you sure didn't just get a luxembourg licens. Many riders have licens elswhere from their birth country. Doubt he has gotten luxembourg citizenship after living in the country for only 2 years or so.
EDIT: too slow

Nah too many people on this site ignore scientific evidence and believe anti-doping authorities to be incapable of making mistakes. If the headline says doped then it must be true, case closed.
Also some advice for chicra04: Stick to the scientific evidence: like how two tests done 8 days before and 4 days after the positive A sample was taken, both come back negative, one being from the tour of Utah and the other bieng outside of competition.
Yea I will have degrees in Exercise Physiology and Biology after this year. And will be attending graduate school for Exercise Physiology. I know all about the scientific evidence.
8 days bfor, negative and 4 days after........ hmmm sounds like d-bag drug testers who don't know what they are doing. Sounds like a false positive to me. Thanks Levi. |

Wow, you're doing a Biology degree yet you've just come out with that statement. Amazing. DHEA has a half life of 12 hours. Meaning that half of the amount ingested lasts in your body after 12 hours. So after 24, you can pretty much say that it's gone completely. That is, the amount you ingested. Which would kinda say that within 24 hours of the test, he had ingested DHEA in whatever form he found it in. Whether it was as honest mistake or not - it would look like it was an honest mistake due to that time line, but I don't trust a soul. In other words, he could test negative one day, positive the next, and negative the day after if he took the "wrong" supplement.

In a related topic, is it me or has cyclingnews.com become Other-sites'-translated-news.com?
Look at the latest "vino's racing calendar" news item. It's basically a poorly translated version of the one on biciciclismo.com. Where biciciclismo says "he'll race these races among others" cyclingnews says he'll ride only these races.
Other than that, same article.

I find it strange that he's not riding any races between MSR and Trentino, given how Liége is such a big goal.
Surely you'd expect him to be at the Basque country like everyone else is. There's a reason why everyone goes there....it works! It helps you improve your form so you can compete in the classics.
I find it even stranger that he's got this big goal of riding well in Liége when in the past every single time anyone's ridden the Trentino then caught a plane to belgium to race in Liége the next day, they've been abysmally bad.
EDIT: since we're on the subject of Astana race programs, here's Contador's:
Volta ao Algarve
Paris-Nice
Volta a Catalunya
Vuelta al PaÃs Vasco
Dauphiné Libéré
Tour de France
He wants to win all of the above except the Dauphiné

So Contador will do no race alongside Vinokourov - perhaps no Pais Vasco for Vino is simply because Contador does not want to have Vino with him there?

Well, Contador did say that Vino is commited to working for him at the Tour if the ASO will allow him to ride, and that he's sure there will have everyone behind him no matter what "unlike last year"

Sounds kind of like this year..... Lance and Alberto tried to stay away from racing with each other except for what...2 times? |

So, how are the spanish going to get Valverde out of yet more bulletproof evidence of doping?

Who is this "Valverde" you talk about? I've never heard of him? Is he a cyclist?

Ever heard about irony?
Don't underestimate us, isso. We're very good at hiding proofs, or making people forget it, which is easier. |

Remember Virenque... After Festina affair, people in france have put bannier : "Come back Richard", and have continue to love him and his polka jersey.
