Stage 4
Most important stage..today's winner can concider yourself has tour winner. I dont belive that Lotto squad have any chanches today.
Has I expected..both sprint stars van Avermaet..and Steels cant follow at the 30km. to go mark. Pieter Mertens is one and only Predictor rider who has left in main group.
last climb..and John Gadret atacks..Halgand try's to follow. Mertens also has in difficulty.
Mertens catches the group in downhill section brave riding.. Gadret is gone already.
...he takes a win and also leader jersey. Nice day for Ag2r team.

Last stage
Boulogne sur Mer - Boulogne sur Mer
This is gonna be last stage..and sprinters turn to shine..I dont belive that nowone can do anything to take tour win for yesterday winner Gadret..main questin will be today can anyone to something against sprint `doniator Rigotto.
Here they come again out at the last corner..Rigotto leading again..Steels trys at right side,,Eechout at left.
van Avermaet opens the battle against Rigotto..now Steels turn..300m. before the line he reaches to Rigotto..can he also pass.
No way..Rigotto dominates today again. Steels 3rd. van Avermaet 4th.

Giro starts with my weakest part...TTT..some how I cant manage ..
Some favorites, teams and riders...Di Luca squad.
Rabobank..nr.1 is..(Ruben must be happy..Dekker it is)
Astana team and Savoldelli
Lampre with Cunego...
CSC and this time surprise...no Andy ..F.Schleck is nr.1
Saunier..with best Giro lineup...has Saunier takes a win and Simoni pink..Then my TTT skills are taken another hit..last team and 1'52 behind. At least this can give Cioni to challange boost..."climbing" up in GC

Shame about that TTT, but the result is gonna do the GC fight very intense I reckon as Simoni isn't a very good TT rider.
Good luck in Italy, I'm counting on McEwen to win a few stages |

Stage 2
Tempio Pausania - Bosa
Would be a little hard for the sprinters..there we can expect some atacks at the only mounatin for the stage.
And..thats what I was talking about Arroyo atacks first after him..Simoni,Cunego, Cauchhioli and also Cioni decided to try follow. In hill top we have Simoni in the lead..and Di Luca with Cioni follows. Cunego trying to join also at the same group.
There is 35km. to go..and most of it is downhill..this might actualy work..
Here they come...three escapees will decide a winner..I would vote for Di Luca.. ..those two who had a short advantage over rest of the group are Bennati and McEwen (this year Giro main sprint battle..to follow)
Mass crash..Zanini is down and a little hurt also.
Simoni still leading..but soon we can see Di Luca move.
Di Luca takes a clear win..

Stage 3
Barumini - Cagliari
I was looking the stages..there isnt much lefy for McEwen to take a win..and probably quit this tour before mountains..he dosnt haw a chanche at the hilly stages eather.
Problems starts van Huffel (Predictor squad nr.2 man in giro)..twchnical problems...and in very bad moment..he giving hugh efort and catches the peloton later, but this is to much he drops later again. Now I have to decision to make..to leave him on heäs main job to be Cioni helper or try to hunt mountain jersey. Zanini after crash yesterday doesnt feel so good..lets see how this injury gonna look like tomorrow. This is gonna be blow for italian rider..to step down in Giro.
But today we sprint..Robbie already knows before yesterday wich riders he should look.after swiching a several times train..McEwen find a plca..behind Casparotto,Bennati and Furlan.
Bennati feels to strong again today..but McEwen should beat at least Gasparotto.
...end of stage 3..first pure sprinters stage..Bennati clear win.
..and hey Robbie gets hes first UCI points.
