Got my top speed on my second, old (fitness bike) Sirrus Specialized. I was doing a normal speed 25 kph with that. Than I see someone with 2014 OPQS jersey and colnago bike. (I have 2013 OPQS jersey though) and followed him after a kilometer I finally cought his wheel. 250m after he saw me, He was relaying me lol. Then he start to up the speed like 45kph speed and I was giving my all. With a fitness bike I did 45kph. He was looking me every 50m and try to attack. After a 2.5 km, I finally dropped on pure flat. Than I just thinked that I should go summerhouse. Then I started going home in 15kph speed. Then he came to me, told that I want the same thing that I did to you. I accept it. I did 35kph I guess and relay him a bit
I was dead when I get back summerhouse. I was like dead.(I use my old fitness bike in summerhouse.

Im going to Italy in a couple of days, down to the Garda-lake a little up in the mountains in a town called Tignale. Time to show off my Euskaltel-outfit once again, but I wont post anything on Strava or anything like that.. - wont take the risk of getting laughted up my face of you supermotionists

Might try and get through 4000 vertical this week for the first time. Means going through 2000m in one ride, which would be another first, and after my longest ever ride a few days ago too but I have a rare full day to play with on the weekend.
Hopefully a few hill reps sticking to the lesser 5-6% stuff aren't beyond my creaking legs - at 37 Jean-Christophe Peraud gives me hope

Is it possible for me to take a ride on my bicycle tomorrow(today) with a sprained ankle?
Considering the fact that my foot will be in the same position, I don't see the problem but some of you might.

It is possible, but I wouldn't recommend it. Let it heal before doing any kind of sport except chess or stuff like that.

My ride tonight, I am hugely impressed with it considering I have an achillies tendon problem. I am riding with heavy strapping.

I am taking everything back about riders who has abandon after crash after effects.
Damn this shit hurts..
I crashed 2 days ago not some fast speed crush but road surface was rough.
I took a hit with one side..ankle..knee..shoulder..and worse hit took a ass.
Yesterday was ok..I was just mountain biking to forget my rad crash.
Today like classic..two days after crash I can barely walk.
Ankle and specially ass road rush hurts. |

Both quality shoes but my housemate has the Mavics and absolutely loves them, try on both if you get the chance but I doubt you could go wrong with either shoe
thanks for respond..
Spezialised did not have my number.
So mavic then...same thing not my number then they made me a deal that I had not chance to refuse. Xcellium yellow carbon shoes with 180€ ..normal price is around 290€.
First impressions..very good looking shoes. Light. Same time my MTB Spezialised shoes is more gentle to my feet. |

For the next 5 months I'm moving to Denmark I know there are quite many Danes on the forum, so I'll ask you for the advice
Obviously I have to leave my CX bike at home and with Danish prices of public transport I'm going to buy a bike to commute to work and also have fun on longer rides at the weekends. Can you advice me where can I find some decent, but quite cheap, used bikes in Copenhagen? I'm thinking about a retro road bike on steel frame, preferably with mudguards for commuting Or maybe you have some old spare bikes?

There has been a Garmin rider in full kit and with support car going up and down Mt Lemmon the past week. Started 2 days after Talansky pulled out of the Tour, so I wonder if it is him. Friendly enough, but he passes me so quickly I cannot get a good look. |

Well, let it be known once again: I absolutely hate changing tires. Or actually, doing anything mechanical on the bike.

Thanks Luigi. Found out that it was Tom Danielson. I guess that explained the "Tommy D's" on one of the vehicles.
NO more pros riding MT Lemmon right now, to humiliate me in my slowness.
The worst was one time I was doing interval sprint and out of the saddle, and one was sitting and breathlessly greeted me as he rode past....

Nah, practice and experience isn't the problem so much but rather the fact that I have two left hands when it comes these sorta things.

Same here. I could waste time practicing and still be 98% as useless... |
