Armstrong as usual being a fabulous teammate for Leiph....no.
Sarcasm aside, I don't remember Armstrong being a good teammate. ever.

Isn't Lance going to be about 11th now?
Also, has anything been said about the length of the Blockhaus stage yet? |

What a stage by Sastre, just attacked then set a high tempo and stuck to it. Great stage

Will be decided on the morning of the stage. Isso said on TS it's most likely shorter.

If not for the Team Time Trial, Sastre could actually win this Giro
Why the TTT? I thought Cervelo did good, with them losing only 11 seconds to Rabobank and all. He lost more time to Menchov on stage 5, excluding time bonuses. |

Well i bow down to isso and crue's superior knowledge i was not expecting that much of a colapse though (i cant spell) sastre looked good but i think menchov might have been bluffing di luca and forced him to do alot of the work. |

The thing is, Seeldrayers still has a 3 minute lead, and has been far more consistent than Masciarelli this Giro, who combines offdays with great days. So my money is on the Belgian. |

There is something I don't get. Everybody praises Menchov's job. Including me, because I want him to win. But, on the other hand, if you look it right, he is doing exactly the same thing a lot of people hate about Evans: staying behind, following wheels, counterattacking. During this Giro he has attacked only once (I mean, a real attack, not today's last meters sprint), the rest of the Giro he has been just reacting to other attacks.
You can say he is doing fine, saving energy by not attacking, because he doesn't need to. But, again, it's the exact same thing a lot of people dismiss about Evans.

It's different when you're in the jersey, because everyone attacks you. Only the pure climbers, plus Lance Armstrong attacks in the jersey
If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell.

We do agree, but if Evans waits for the TTs to get the yellow jersey, he is quite in the same position. I'm pretty much sure that if it wasn't Menchov but Evans, a lot of people would be criticizing him for being leading mostly because of a TT and not so much because of an attacking style.
