I see Sagan got a bit crazy for wins in USA, four wins and podium in five sprint stages, not much opposition though. I wonder how many he will add in Tour of Alberta starting tommorow, i can see four, five stages ending with possible sprint, so at least a couple should be realistic.
Btw. he reached that magical 50proffesional wins mark (eighteen this year), having 51now. Not bad, being 23 years old.

Tour starts with hilly prologue + five possibly sprint stages, so we cant rule that out.

Sagan just absolutley killed that Prologue. He will win GT Prologues in the future.
Also, what was with Belkin's lack of TT bikes

Kind of a waste to have the Tour in Alberta and then not have any mountains.
Might as well have had the race in Saskatchewan or even better Manitoba
It has nice stops I guess, which is all the organizers probably care about.

I heard about some stage finishing near the biggest dinosaur statue on the world, i hope Peter is already practising some dino celebration.
But yeah, strange to have race in Alberta without some real uphill sections, but the terrain seems rolling up and down in majority of stages.

Well, Sagan 1 - 0 everyone else. I say at the end of the race it's 6-0. |

Sagan
Great result from Ludvigsson as well. He has been surprisingly strong in prologues and shorter time trials this year!

On a 7km long prologue, while he already has beaten Cancellara in prologue in his home country in the past for example...the course was said to be incredibly technical too.
Sagan being beast in short prologues is not surprising to be honest. And he already showed at this years Tour he can ride a longer TT very well too.

It was at least slightly uphill throughout most of it I believe. Or at least that's what this seems to imply:

Yep, short downhill (ideal for Peter) and then slight uphill with many twists.
It is not like this is as surprisive as Voeckler winning that TT recently.

Haga with a good result between all the pro riders. Not a bad signing by Argos.
Slagter was the fastest in the KOM timing zone and gets the mountain jersey.

Bit of a fail by Sagan, for not getting the KOM jersey, too. |

And you would be doubting what Sutty? That Sagan is the powerhorse, which usually are great in prologues? Like early Boonen for example. Also prologue is lot about technical abilities, which are arguably best in peloton for Sagan.

A little bit surprised Evans finished so close in the prologue, not a shock Sagan won it, he is on form and it was one that suited him. Also good to see Dennis doing well again
