What was the course like? My gut says it was probably rolling with that top 10.
Spilak once again showing form.
My gut is telling me it was some kind of ped's. When has Voeckler been any good tt? Never i would say not good enough to win one atleast.

That was at least on a terrain you'd expect him to do well on.
With such a gap and everything, this is crazy - especially considering how crappy he has been all season. It's like Theo Bos winning Brabantse Pijl.

Surprising, although in 2010-2011 he showed he was great on 20-30 minutes efforts.
Maybe the course was twisted and favoured punchers a bit more ? Also Europcar are almost locals in Poitou-Charentes, so he might have known the course better than his main opponents.
It's still a very WTF performance though... Curious to see how he fares next time he does a TT.

Durbridge had to ride with Jens Mouris bike after mechanical trouble to his. Would have won if not for that...

I seriosuly doubt he would, yes he would have come likely 2nd ( he didn't have a power meter as well so it was hard for him to judge his performance ) however 23 seconds margin is a destruction, very doubtful he would have beated him.

This was the TT profile (click the image). The climb is only 2%, so we could say it's mostly flat.

Jalabert once won it in front of specialists Honchar and Boardman. Nothing can surprise me any more since that day.

Jelle Wallays is about to put in a performance for the history books at World Ports Classic. One of the most impressive performances in the sport ever.

It is hard to see Wallays losing it from here.

That time is not correct. 2 seconds? The game was 29 seconds IIRC.

Funny fact. The peloton lost 3 minutes to the breakaway by going the wrong way.

No race radios and a wrong turn by the peloton. This is what you get .
Good for Wallays though

Dafaq!... Don't think I tuned in early enough to see how the break ended up winning. Was it cause they went the wrong way?
