And another one

I catched up 20 pages, first comment in two weeks! But absolutely great to see the Rainbow on Stijn's shoulders, simply magnificant!

TomC - Thanks a lot! Great to see you back with a comment
Ollfardh - He wasn't thinking straight, or right. He was thinking left
sutty68 - Stijn's taken the upper hand now
PCM rulezz - Quite a list of victories in 2016, already!
rogvi97 - Glad you caught up I love seeing that Jersey too, a lot! Thanks man
I will try to finish Paris - Nice this weekend. Two stages left, including Col d'Eze time trial, so that should be doable |

I know i'm far from the best at leaving comments, but I'm always following along with Stijn and Willy
Good luck for the major cobbles that are on their way, Hopefully we'll see Van Gent on the top step often!

Paris - Nice :: Stage 8
Stage 7 did not broadcast due to a terrorist alarm further in the country. The news was all about that all day long. Stage 7 saw a breakaway make it to the finish, no changes in the GC.
Stijn: I will not start. In fact, I'm already on my way home as we speak, for some extra training towards Milan - San Remo. I have nothing to gain at this time trial so I can use the day better. I have no Jersey to defend so it was easy to leave the race.
Willy: 13 seconds on Costa is not a lot. A tough day is expected!
Oh, and on popular demand we changed to Sporza. They broadcast more races anyway!
Welcome. The best provisional time is currently set by Peter Velits. It's a sharp time, but we're sure it'll be broken. Our hopes are for Wouters.
We're looking at Machado here. He's started his season good and sets the best intermediate time!
In the mean time, Wouters has set off! Four years ago, nobody in Belgium dreamed of a yellow jersey wearer. This man has made it all come through. Belgium's got its hopes up for the Tour! He looks strong today!
Tensions rise as Costa sets an incredibly strong time! He's on a roll and he's only 13 seconds behind Wouters.
At the finish, it's Costa who takes the win, but is it enough for the GC?
[...]
No, it's not! Wouters finishes 5 seconds behind Costa, leaving 8 seconds between the two, Wouters takes another Paris - Nice, amazing!
We're here with today's winner Rui Costa. But it seems he's still dressing and is not ready to do an interview. Instead, here's a recorded interview with Stijn Van Gent, taken this morning before the start.
Stijn Van Gent, you're not dressed to race, it seems?
Stijn Van Gent: That's right. I've got a flight in about two hours. With my eye on San Remo, I want to get some more training. I can't do anything in a mountain time trial.
Last year you said you weren't returning to Milan - San Remo. Changed your mind?
Stijn Van Gent: A lot changed. I feel I can win it, and I don't want to miss my chance. It's a...
Sorry to cut the interview short, but we have Rui Costa for you! Rui, a great day for you?
Rui Costa: Yes and no. I'm grateful for today's victory, my legs were good. But a part of me believed in the overall victory. Then again, stage 5 should've seen time gaps so in the end I must be happy with the second place and leading the UCI Rankings.
How does it feel to beat your former team leader, Wouters?
Rui Costa: [laughs] I didn't think of it that way. Willy is incredibly strong, everyone who's seen him in action knows that. Despite his tender physique, he's a real beast on the bike. My victory today proves I have the right form and my hard work has payed off.
Thank you, Rui. We're moving on and see Willy Wouters. Willy, another Paris - Nice. Explain your success in these races.
Willy Wouters: It is rather extraordinary, isn't it? Two times Tirreno - Adriatico, two times Paris - Nice. It's so unlikely yet true. I guess I have a great early season form and I always get a bit of luck thrown my way. This year it's all for the Tour, though. I'd trade in my entire palmares for a GT win. Except my World title, of course!
What's next for you?
Willy Wouters: I'll be supporting Stijn in San Remo. Then I'll participate in the Ardennes, to gain some experience and to help Martin. But it's all eyes on the Tour.
Thank you, the podium is ready for you. That's it for us today. Thank you for being with us, enjoy your evening!

You know what I'm most happy about? Of course winning Paris - Nice is amazing, but I'm most happy to see Lou Smeets in the top 15. I've taken him under my wings and he's done so well. He was the best team mate you could wish for, and seeing him finishing with the Young Jersey is so great. He's a great talent!
Next up, Milano - San Remo!

Good enough for the overall, he doesn't need to win everything.
Also like the Sporza broadcast, though this one probably lacked some funfacts about a local castle/vineyard
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Jesleyh - I know! But a GT is much tougher to win for Willy, for some reason. This year the Tour, maybe, but the competition will be fierce... |
