Today's break contains the following five riders who have a lead of 5m 29s, Pugdahl/Blue Water Cycling, Osorio/Loteria Del Tachira, Rezman/Team Voralberg, Sevilla/EPM-UNE and Durango/4-72 Colombia
The five are enjoting themselves at the front of the race
Atlas Personal are trying to organise a chase
Over two minutes has come off the advantage as the peleton starts to increase the pace
Inside the last twenty kilometres of the race and only 1m 10s left of there lead
The hard work by Atlas Personal is about to pay off as they grab a glimpse of the breakaways
With the breakaway finally caught Brambilla/Atlas Personal decides to spring an attack
As he goes under the red kite the peleton are in full flow behind him
And he celebrates a Great victory here in Croatia

Anyhow, good luck at Paris-Troyes. Based on me following this story for a year and a half it is safe to assume that the team will either finish 1st and 2nd or well outside the top 10!  |

It's been nothing but constant attacking since the first kilometre
and this is the first group to get over a minut advantage. It contains Steensen/Team Cult Energy, Krasilnikau/Chipotle First Solar, Stones/MG Maxifuel, Vennell/Bissell Pro Cycling, Hocevar/Adria Mobil and Persson/Concordia
They have pushed there advantage to over four minutes
Europcar and Sojasun are leading the chase from the peleton
Our leaders continue to press on with there attack despite the peleton eating in to there advantage
The gap is down to 1m 18s
Steensen/Team Cult Energy gives it one last desperate attack as the peleton closes in
Efimkin/Team Novo Nordisk is laying down a fast pace as we enter the business end of the race
Chavanel/Team Europcar sprints for the line as we reach the red kite
But he can't hold on and just gets pipped to the line by Evaldas Siskevicius of Sojasun

The first rider to finish today was Tom Zirbel of Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies with a time of 4m 23s
He was closely followed over the line by our very own Ben Swift who would finish the day in a disappointing 57th place
Many riders tried but failed to better the time of Zirbel, they included Coen Vermeltfoort of Cyclingteam De Rijke - Shanks

Yes, luckily the time gaps are small with a time trial 1st stage. They didn't do too bad. I must admit that TT is my biggest problem in my career with MTN. I just can't afford proper TT riders with my budget. I will probably have to change the face of the team a lot to get competitive. Your story is still awesome! |
