Utd - Swansea, extremely boring. Utd couldn't create anything, Swansea just parked the bus. They had 2 chances and scored. I almost fell asleep.
Piss off, you were clearly watching the wrong game. Siggy, Montero and Dyer were all going forward all the time with Shelvey providing some directness that we have lacked at times. How can you say we parked the bus when our first goal was scored by Ki, who was playing as our holding midfielder from just outside the box?
Ludicrous post.
I'm not going to take anything away from Swansea's win, as United didn't deserve any better, but are you denying that Swansea were playing counter-attacking football and barely had any other chances than the two that resulted in goals?
(Again: There's nothing wrong with that at all)
Sure we counter-attacked and sat deeper than usual but that is still completely different to parking the bus. The first goal had almost 30 passes leading up to it, which is not how a team plays if it is parking the bus. Not only that but our direct passing was limited.
So sure we counter attacked but I would deny that we parked the bus.
Didnt watched the swansea game today? How we played today?

Great first half. Absolutely vintage display from the lads. Dyer scored a well placed shot with Gylfi getting the assist. We probably should have been two or three up at half time but weren't clinical enough. In the second half we weren't as good. We had some solid moments but we tended to sit a bit deeper and let Burnley come at us. Still we won 1-0 and that's what matters.
Why exactly? I dont see whats so funny about simply losing a game. And Im confident no one could find any humour in a team having several players go down with pretty serious looking injuries.
Because it's the story as every other year - "this year is ours" and then they fail big time. Pretty much same situation as with Arsenal's fans. Besides that, their game was honestly shit tonight. One big null.
And also because I am Everton fan. Seeing reds lose is always a good thing. Edited by admirschleck on 25-08-2014 22:16

All the top teams have fans like that. Its not like its a massive stretch to think a team that finished 2nd last year could win the title this time round.
The season is 2 games old. Manchester City lost to a side that went on to relegate in their 2nd game last season. And I seem to recall them winning the league in the end.
