well we couldn't get luckier but it's a luck we really needed now because Hagi is far far from beeing a good coach he gets jobs as a coach for his name as an ex-football player |

here here now, we'll trade. you can have Scolari and we'll have Hagi for the national team. he can't possibly be as bad as Scolari |

well..Scolari at least won a world cup. Hagi immediatly after retirement was named coach of the Romanian national team and lost qualification at the 2002 world cup after losing against Slovenia 8-| in the play-offs

roque junior also won that world cup. that doesn't stop the fact that he'd be out of his depth in the belarusian league
same applies to scolari

As portuguese, I must say "AGREED". I don't like Scolari, and that is not going to change if it wins the next european championship. He can also continue to participle in bank advertisements in this country, but I not consider him a good coach.

he's a fabulous motivator. but his selections are questionable at best, and the biggest problem: the way he gets out-manouvered tactically in every single game is terrifying
about his selections, the biggest problem is: he will hardly ever call up anyone who doesn't play for a big club

Drenthe overrated lol! Im glad Feyenoord sold him and made big profit out of him only for those 4 games that he played well at the U21 European Chamionship!

I was secretly hoping they'd fail in nabbing Drenthe or Robben and would come in for Mr.Overrated himself, Quaresma.
sadly, that didn't happen
well...then again there are quite a few players that are much more overrated than Quaresma. including a certain Liverpool record signing that I STILL laugh out loud every time I remember him... |

Quaresma is certainly overrated. But Scolari insists to put him in the last games for EC qualification and he played like crap. What makes him a great player is only that weird goals which he scores without knowing how.

it's not like he shouldn't be called up. he should. he's a good player and there's no one that should be called up for that position other than him.
the problem is that he could be one of the world's best if he would only change his attitude. anyway, I'm getting a bit off topic here. I'll shut up. especially since I've done a pretty long post on my views of Quaresma a few pages back on this thread. |

I think Simão is better than Quaresma, and believe I'm pissed off with him because he leaved Benfica. As you say, the worst thing in Quaresma is the attitude, he passes the time in national squad games trying to cross and to score that weird things, when he can pass to another player in better position, and he know that goals happen twice in a half season.
