Hushovd was voted the best downhiller by all the teams sports directors, and is actually a really good downhiller..
the fact is he lost porportionally more time in a descent than in a climb which is his major issue
But how about the first descent? There, he caught the break, and left them again!
If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell.

Who did contador say he feared the most?
-Wiggins
Who did they break today?
Wiggins
The schlecks will lose time tomorrow.
Maybe, but not enough.
Any will be enough... Andy is 2:30 or so back of Contador. If you assume he rides the TT of his life and finishes just 30 seconds behind Alberto... he'd have to win by 3 minutes on Ventoux to take the win.
The only TT guy for another team who was within striking distance was Wiggins... and now he's not.
What today did do was make Andy a pretty strong bet for second. The contest for 3rd will be close between Frank, Lance, Kloden, Wiggins and Nibali. |

I'm not talking about Contador, haven't I the whole time been saying that Contador is going to win? Why would I change my mind after this stage?
I'm talking about all the guys behind the Schlecks in the time trial. Surely most of them (if not all) will gain time on Andy, but doubtly enough to catch him in the GC and you have to assume that if Andy hits Ventoux with an advantage over guys like Armstrong, Wiggins, Nibali etc, he's going to hold that. Frank is a different story. I think he'll move down in the GC after TT, but why shouldn't he be able to haul it all back on Ventoux. As it stands as of right now, I don't see how he could have a deficit greater than 1 - 1,30 minute.

Really exiting stage today, with great cycling And great to see clash of worst sprinters spriting for the win
Podium in Paris will be
1:contador
2: Andy (he has over 2 minutes to amrstrong in 4th.
3: Fränk He has 30 seconds to amrstrong and 1 minute to Klöden he will lose up to 2 minutes to them tomorow, but he will gain the tim back on Ventoux.

Unless Frank has become much better then I remember... Kloden should be ahead of him after the TT. Over 40km it's tough to see Frank holding on to 1:20 over Klode, even with Kloden physically drained. |

Dude he said Andy and Frank may lose time in the TT but will hold podium on Ventoux. If you learned to read and got some common sense you would know that. But again, like a four year old, you flame and rub a win in someone's face who didn't even say anything about Schleck in yellow. |

I gotta be honest, I don't know what's more annoying, Biathlon cheering incessantly FOR Lance or every third post being some random "I hate Lance!" comment. Either way, it seems like every single post is about that guy. |

One more bet win for me. Wiggins out of the podium in Paris
Very easy bet. And Crue gave me 2.0 exchange rate in the bet. Great!!
