When they asked Sean Kelly who will win teh tour this year he said (joking of course) Cancellara. But do you think he is capable of a top ten position this year, nevertheless he won the Swiss tour and he was quite impresive in the mountians last year.
And why do I have a feeling that this years tour will be a fight between Astana and Saxo-Bank plus a few other riders (Evans, Sastre) |

That was cool...just glad to be there I guess, taking it all in..God knows the whole occassion of the TDF is often wasted on some riders.

For all the talk of the first stage defining who the leader for Astana would be....
All 4 guys were within 22 seconds of each other (Lance the slowest of the bunch).
Count Klöden out..he don't want to be leader. |

Evans says his shifting malfunctioned, he lost a lot of speed, couldn't get back into the rhythm and that cost him about 10 secs. |

Saw that in the beginning of the stage when he entered the slope, he lost a lot of speed... But at least he wasn't as unlucky as Rogers who lost his chain... |

He's obviously in good shape. Those 10 secs would have placed him ahead of Contador, which not many would have predicted to happen. If he can keep his form all the way to Ventoux, he might win this thing. |
