Lol Hugh Porter, he thought he had a good fact there saying no Tour de France winner had won the Olympics. Before changing it to no 5-time winner of the Tour has won it - slightly less impressive fact

yes some very odd happenings today, the shower, and I still cant believe that Almonacid flicked a bug off of the Bolivian riders back
and the smog looks pretty bad, especially at the start
edit here was the nbc commentator that is MIA's comments at the start "Skies are grey, the temperature is 95 degrees and the humidity is 63%. The road temperature is 112 degrees; it is a miserable day to race a bicycle."

paid? more likley it was suggested by a group of soldiers that they stand and cheer. kind of like how they emphasized to the performers at the opening ceremonies smiling.

The peleton is actually slashing some time from the escape group...went from 5:07 to 3:36 in the last 11k...we'll see if that continues, although the second half of the circuit is less conducive to cutting time. |

Levi-Freire was never in the lead group to begin with. The NBC Commentator can't get his stuff straight. |
