Wozniacki fails to live up the 1 seed again, I am in a total state of chock [/sarcasm].. every year i think "why don't i watch the womens games at wimbledon?" and then i remember, it's slow basline game with girls screaming as though they are trying to overplay a porno-parody in a SNL sketch.. I am currently watching Nadal-Del Portro and it's better than any Womens game i've seen this year (and being Danish, i get to see alot)

I don't watch that much Tennis, but i'm surprised that Venus Williams went out. Serena W. is not a surprise because of her serious injuries the last year. Would be great to see Andy Murray in a final against Federer, but I think Nadal will take Murray if they both go through to meet each other in the semifinals. |

Actually it's not clever to compare women sports and men sports
It's like comparing an apple with a pear
And this screaming is not that worse on the court as on the TV
I was said by someone who attended a women tournament (Cinncinati) especially Sharapova tends to be a lot louder and shriekier on the TV then on the court
But I say you can see good tennis at the local ground unless you want to see the players (Nadal/Federer) more then the game

Watching Sabine Lisicki vs Marion Bartoli now. Impressive play by Lisicki, I haven't heard much about her, but she is very impressive for her age. |

She was actually pretty good 2 years ago. Then she was very badly injured and hasn`t played a lot since then. Then they also detected an allergy, that doesn`t allow her to eat pasta for the energy she needs. (Same with Djokovic btw)
Now she is back obviously.
Women tennis in Germany with Lisicki, Görges and Petkovic is quite popular again, different to the men.

Yes saw that. Görges and Petkovic is very young aswell. All of the women in the quarterfinals of this year Wimbledon is very young, with the oldest one being Bartoli which is only 26 years old. |

I'm rather surprised noone else has posted anything regarding the Australian Open yet. Am I the only one watching Djokovic vs. Murray right now?
I don't regularly watch tennis but I more or less conincedentally turned on the TV yesterday during Federer vs. Nadal and was pretty amazed. Great match, great fight!

Rafa v Fed yesterday was great, I'm watching Murray v Djokovic too, I really hope Murray can win it, but I'm not confident.
Plus I'm sure tons of Brits are watching too.

I hope for Murray as well, but it doesn't really look too good, as you said Comparing today's and yesterday's match, though, I'd bet on Nadal no matter who wins this. Although it's still Djokovic, so what do I know

Djokovic will win for sure. Today and the final.
I would love to see Federer back to old strength. Yesterday he war dominant for some time but not very constant over the full match. Also I hope Murray will get at least one Grand Slam but obviously he is in the wrong generation.
And last but not least it`s a great season. Tommy Haas in his probably last one. A great sportsman, who suffered far too many injuries. A great end of the Australian Open against Nadal, who really paid him respect afterwards. |

I'm not concentrating on the men's final yet, I'm focused on doing whatever I can to avoid the shriekfest that will be tomorrow's Azarenka vs. Sharapova final.

Wow, Murray's been playing ridiculously well the last few games, but surely it won't last. |

Novak looks almost sick out there, Murray has to punish him.

I'd be worried if he was considering the level of tennis in this match
I have to go to a lecture now...tempted not to turn up... |

Health wise, but he's still playing amazing. He seems to be a bit better now.

And I already though yesterdays match was amazing by times.
But this 2nd semi final is amazing all the time.
Murray is surprising me a lot. |

Important set for Murray. Now will it be 4 sets or 5?
