That's actually a great idea.. It would take no time to make a realname DB then 
But as I see it the biggest problem is to make the "right" jerseys for the teams and riderphotos ...  Not to edit team-names, rider-names and so on  |

You place in an external file some boolean keys, one for every game mode:
Code:
MANAGER_NAMES_SHUFFLING 0 or 1
RACE_NAMES_SHUFFLING 0 or 1
TUTORIAL_NAMES_SHUFFLING 0 or 1
EDITOR_NAMES_SHUFFLING 0 or 1
When for example you enter in the manager mode and its names-shuffling key is setted to 1 (true) do something as follow for every string:
if the name lenght is > 0
- if it contains vowels --> pick the first one and change it to the next different vowel in the ascii table
- if it doesn't --> pick the last consonant and change it to the next different one in the ascii table
Result:
Ullrich --> Allrich
Pantani --> Pentani
etc...
Following this way, the user just need to switch the keys values from 1 to 0, at his own risk, and the names will be showed correctly without rebuilding the whole database. It works like a mask because in the meantime the db strings will be saved correctly (Ullrich, Pantani, etc...).
Some kind of that has existed in PCM for ages.
The STA_licenced_string:
Example:
IDlicenced_string | gene_sz_licence | gene_sz_nolicence | gene_b_is_licenced
184 | ASTANA CYCLING TEAM | KAZAKSTANA | 0
Change gene_b_is_licenced from 0 to 1, and the gene_sz_licence is used instead of gene_sz_nolicence.
Unfortunately, it doesn't change all strings, you have to edit DYN_team too.

Well i think they want to have it ready for the Vuelta and Deutschlandtour to get some more attention after they moved there date away from the 27.06.
Lets hope they take the time to get it more or less bug free and get a good result balancing.

Actually, I think it's better that the release date is later now, if they would release it the same time as PCM, they woouldn't stand a chance imo, now they've got more time and less pressure because pcm08 is already out

I agree with that, and it also gives them more time to sort out the bugs. But there's a lot less people interested in cycling at that time, so I hope they don't have too high expectations for their sales, otherwise this "serial" will last as long as EuroTour did |

It is unfortunate for Radsport manager, that Cyanide has chosen this year to release a playable game from day one. And with great new features to make matters "worse".
I do think that they are right in postponing the release. The market for cycling manager games is not that big after all, som releasing it at the same time as PCM would be suicide imo. |

Especially the first thing you said, the bugs. It's very important that they'll take their time untill all the bugs are out. That's another thing in what they will be able to beat PCM

The project is dead
Today (yesterday) the people who ordered the game at amazon.de have got a message that the ordering must be canceled because the publisher told them that the game wouldn´t come out
So the Winner -> is Cyanide even that there wasn´t a competition on the market
