Sorry what? Trolling or actually serious?
Actually he is 100% right.
Who ever wins didn´t win because they were the best, they will win because they were just lucky enough to be apart of the race when the biggest favorites left the tour do to crashes.
You can't be serious. What the crashes have to do with the fact that Nibali destroyed anyone on cobbles? (destroyed=being better, or in your world being better is only having bigger wattage on a mountain stage?). Froome still would have lost something like 5 minutes or even more on that stage if he hadn't crashed. |

Well to win the Tour you have to be lucky with crashes etc and Nibbles has done just that, you cant just say he is an undeserved winner as he's proved he was in great form and would have likely won anyway, even without Contador's crash/abandon :/
Such a shame though, I have to say
Of course Nibali wouldn´t have won, the race yesterday showed that Contador was in better form and Nibali would have been destroyed today.
Pure speculation, Nibali was on his Wheel intill the last 50 meters.... |

So that makes Nibali (most likely) undeserved winner? You're surprising me more and more every day. It's just ridiculous.

Who's gonna challenge Nibbles now?
Porte is the only guy at the moment who can come close to something that's called "challenging Nibali", but that's still far from the real battle. Vincenzo just has to ride carefully until the end and he'll win this.
The only thing worse than a procession would be a Froome win.

So, CountArach and Aquarius won now? Tour was promised to be something special, seems to be all gone by now.
wanted to quote this but found it to soon

Froome or Contador, it doesn't matter. Whoever wins, we lose.
I'm not to sure if Nibali already has this. if the peloton goes with the "all against Nibali" tactic it might be fun. if the start riding for second place then yeah, game over.

Yes of course, he'd have lost 15 mins by now by your standards, Contador would be lucky to get 30 seconds here and there...
One thing you will learn if you follow cycling is that nowhere in hell would a leader give sec´s if he could avoid it.
So yesterday was just a few seconds but it was a indication that he simply couldn´t have followed. |

If only Astana didn't set up the tempo and left him return. He wouldn't have abandoned, would have lost some time and nobody wouldn't say he didn't deserve his upcoming win. But now even some of his fans would say he wouldn't have beaten Froome and Contador in a fair battle.
He couldn't come back because he was injured. He would have been dropped as soon as the pace went up and would have abandoned tonight anyway.

Maybe Kwiatek gets some tips from Tommy V on how to fight for like never before and keeps up in the high mountains.... but well, let's see.

I worded it incorrectly OK, it is my mistake and I apologise, I just meant that this tour will be significantly easier without Froome and Contador |

Roche or Rogers, who will be the new leader
None of them. They are 20 minutes behind before this stage...
They will chase stagewins now. Hopefully Roche will also try to take the mountainsjersey.

I think that was talked up too much. Nibali clearly had gearing problems. That is what he said himself and you could see him looking down at his pedals close to the summit. He didn't look like a man who had cracked.

Yes it does because he won by default, there are no one left.
Once you get older you will learn that winning is not really winning if you win because the others don't compete. |

Sure sure, lets go with that.
Anyways Tour over Nibali will sail this to victory and always be known like evans as the rider who only won because the favorites wasn't there. |

Top 5 from last year Froome, Quintana, RodrÃguez , Contador , Kreuziger will not be in top 5 this year. Rodriguez is 1hr down slready so I dont think he will get back.
This is first time this happens since WWII in 1948. |
