who is better at the moment..Nieve or Porte
I'd say nieve Porte been crap all year.
He may get top 5 but can he beat Contador/Nibali/Valverde to get on podium?
It will be poor year for Sky. No one performed in Giro, they took out Porte and now this.
True. But you`ll never know until the mountains. I doubt he will podium here, but he sure is capable to do so.
Are you serious asking if Porte can compete with some of the best climbers in the world?
I know Porte has suddenly become decent in mountains but come on it´s almost like asking if Porte can beat Kittel in a sprint.
You did watch last years Tour de France?
Porte proved already that he can ride with the very best.
Now the question is his form of course.
Porte this year is no where near the Porte of last year. |

he's form sucks..and he has never ride well cobblestines
I rather have 2 mins on the peleton trying to survive the cobbles rather then being dropped by the peleton. |

Well, probably could have cancelled this section of cobbles.....if you can call those cobbles.

Nibali here is very reminiscent of when Evans held on the last time the TDF had cobbles. Let the big names force a gap and go along for the ride.

Plus you are in a better position to avoid crashes.
He probably had no expectations on todays stage really. Neither in the GC. So just going the "safe" way. |

Thank God Andy Schleck isn't here, otherwise we'd never hear the end of how this has nothing to with cycling and how the entire world should be neutralized.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Well he's a former mountainbiker, so that probably has something to do with it. |

Froome is out, Contador is crumbling, Nibali is crushing everyone. |
