Watch the previous finishes on Baldy and I don't think Wiggins would've won easily there. Guys that won there last times are Horner and Gesink. Actual climbers, not so much TT/tempo wiggo's.
Im talking about with the current startlist |

28km remaining for the breakaway and they still have an advantage of 3'35" (unless the GPS is bust). Going to be a close one going by the 1" per 10km rule. With Will Routley (OPM), Matt Cooke (JSH), Kevin De Mesmaeker (TNN), Jonathan Clarke (UHC), Christopher Jones (UHC) and Gregory Daniel (BDT) the break of the day.
Peloton starting to pile on the pressure however to try and bring them back.

Cannondale (were) up towards the front to help Giant Shimano and Omega Pharma now such is the urgency. Breakaway still have a gap of over 3'00" with 20 kilometres remaining.

The six man break's advantage finally below 3'00" at 2'55", but the peloton pushing their luck with the calculation still being slightly in the break's favour.
Edit #1: The six man breakaway starting to feel the pressure coming from the peloton. Time gap now down to 2'45". 16.7km to go!

This is close, but I think peloton will catch them with 5km to go or so.

With under 15km remaining the GPS has the breakaway's gap back out to 2'55".

Body language not looking quite so optimistic from Cavendish in the peloton. 9.5km remaining and the GPS corrected the gap to around 2'20"-2'25".

Yeh the GPS isn't very quick to update but oh well, at least the riders know what they are doing hopefully |

I'm very much doubting the time gaps, I'd imagine Terpstra, Trentin, Boonen and van Keirsbulck should be able to have CT riders well in control.

Under three to go for breakaway at least a KM ahead of the peloton. Looks like they may have this. Show me my time check landmark for peloton please.
