We are in Argentina today. With just a TTT and a sprint stage to finish this will be the last chance for many to taste a victory here.

We end on the Mirador del Sol climb (8 KM @ 6.4%)

The break: Manan, Delaplace, Gretsch, Gazvoda, Valjavec, Roulston, Barker, Wytinck, Roulston, Kozontchuk, Gil, Russom, Foder and de Backer.

With 60 KM to go the 14 man break have 5'00 over the peloton and Marlon Perez, who attacked early on, has 3'40 over the peloton who begin to chase. Marlon Perez would join up with the break to make it 15 men strong.

The triplet has 1'00 over the rest of the break and 2'50 over the peloton as the final climb begins. Gretsch attacks Gil and Bodrogi and goes on solo.....

Pantano, Gutierrez, De Maar and Pineau are the ones to attack first. This puts some of the GC men into difficulty (Ghyselinck/Lemoine are the men up in the top 10 who are struggling today). But have the attacks come too late?

Gretsch has a minimal advantage on some of the breakaway riders, who are coming back to the German.... Valjavec and Kozontchuk look like they are to fight out another victory, today, however, they are joined by Russom....

The GC men are in small groups not too far from each other as some of the break riders are caught.....

The Eritrean was too strong for the rest of the break today and makes it 2 stage wins in 3 for Bluebell Creameries.

Morkov.... puts time into Hansen today, so the gap between them is less than 1'00 ahead of the TTT. Popovych puts time into Ghyselinck whilst Pate puts time into the Ukrainian. Pantano was the best out of the favourites group today.

After Lemoine caught van Hecke two days previously, Hernandez is now breathing down the neck of the Frenchman, being just '17 off a top 10 place. Barring an accident Hernandez will win the KOM jersey.
