This year was Evans' last Tour, he said. Next year he'll go for the Giro, and probably for the Vuelta.

Ever wondered how important the effects of EPO were and how much it affected performances ? I dare you to find the first clean rider there, and to see how far down the ranking he is :

Are you saying that they all use EPO? This includes Menchov, Evans and Sastre. Edit: and Vandevalde.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. We saw it this year, we'll see it again next year. He's too old to do well in two GTs in one year. A decent Giro and then a nothing Tour this year. He should really just build his season around one GT and possibly try something in the Ardennes, IMO.
