Great reports CountArach
Congratulations to mb, I guess the Tour de France got them away from the relegation battle with the points overhaul.
As it was our first Tour 2nd with Cunego is brilliant but a bit disappointed that we couldn't get him on the best place on the podium

Thanks for all the congratulations everyone.
Also thanks for the excellent reports Count, can you report all my races from now on?
Excellent result by Madrazo and support team here. Never has a team competition win been more deserved.
Hopefully I'm a long way clear of relegation, because my season is over bar breakaways from now on.

Oh my god this is a nightmare. Goal failed completely.
Thanks for the outstanding reporting Count and congratulations again to Santander.
Give me that new rankings fast, I need to know how good our chances of staying up still are. One thing is certain though: they're worse than they were before.
Still, I hope that was only a phase and Bennati can contribute his half of the points tally necessary (with VDB doing the other half).
It might be a long shot with so many races left (and it's definitely nothing personal against those teams), but I still believe Venchi, Bacardi and B&O will finish behind us at the end of the season, so it's all about beating one of Heineken, Pendleton's or Lotto.
Plus, I'm extremely puzzled how my two best mountain riders at 70 and 67 MO could be OTL while my sprint train and even Mohs survived...

Another goal missed, but I think the points tally was healthy. I would have liked a stage win, or to maintain a high team GC position. we needed a decent Tour to have a chance at survival

Apart from that depressing crash for Kohl, 11th is probably about right, 14th is a lovely bonus and the stage win and yellow jersey time will hopefully have given me some points.
Great reports Count, thanks very much for taking the time, and congrats to Santander of course. |

everything was going magnificently until Pinot crashed out of polka dots and a top 15, i fear that will hurt me in the overall standings. My only chance to contend for the overall would have been a great deal of luck, so i'll be interested to see the standings.
Count, fantastic reporting as I can only imagine how much time you put into this.

Good race for Vesuvio. A shame that Schleck couldnt push more for the Top 2 GC positions, but at least he climbed very well throughout and got himself a stage win to go with Medvedev's.
Great reports Count. Will be interesting to find out the ranking points gains for this race, and add them to the standings.

Hopefully I'm not close to the relegation places
As always, brilliant reports, Count

Duarte actually climbed pretty decent throughout this Tour. He still got some learning to do in the hills and on the flats, though. However, the flat stages have been our best ones. Van Avermaet does his best race of the season with several places inside the top 10. Corioni also ends the race well. Sixth on legendary Champs-Elysees is really good.
A little bit dissapointing not to get a stage win. Though, a nice try from Vanmarcke who managed to get in the break when it really mattered (stage 15 - had some catching up to do!).
Congrats to mb, and thanks to CounthArach for the great reports!

Realize I forgot to compliment your reports, CountArach. Thanks a lot for them, it was a pleasure to read about the race.
Now I'm really looking forward to the rankings, as there is quite some time since we had the previous update. |
