Last year Séb T. won here quite easily; today, we have a strong squad with riders who can win.
Race Report:
The weather condition are not the best for a race like that. A breakaway left the pack after 10 km, we took part with other teams in the chase but not that much.
We had plenty of strategy and plan and one of them was that Steven attack with 45 km left, It's what he did and he did it well.
The second plan was me to attack in the last 15 km. And I did it. It was hard but I managed to get 20" on the pack.
The last plan was Alexandre for a sprint and he was the most successful of us 8, He won an amazing race ahead Luca Paolini (Katusha Team). I did pretty well to taking the 11th position.

And finally the first win for the team, congrats to Alexandre and good luck to the team leaving for Paris - Nice I will go to the Netherlands for a training camp in time trial and then riding in Ronde van Drenthe.
The race is flat, very flat, I think this will end in a mass sprint and we'll be there.
Race Report:
The first try was the good one. Today, the morning breakaway started 3 km after the start and ended 10 km before the finish line.
The team who were chasing the breakaway was Vacansoleil - DCM Pro Cycling Team, Lotto Belisol and us. We played with the breakaway riders, giving them 8' at 60 km before the ended, 20 km before the line they were only 1' earlier than us.
I was the one who had to bring the sprint train to the front of the pack, we were so strong that we almost created a gap between us and the pack.
Then Alexandre relayed me and he launched the sprint for Séb C. who was leading Seb T.. Séb T. won the race quite too easily, everyone who was sprinting behind him was fighting for the second position.
I'd like to show you the gap with a picture I found on the internet.
Seeing it from the top, it's not that impressive that I thought.

After the race Séb T. thanks all of us for our amazing job during the race.
Last week I had an interview for a french cycling mag online. In the next post I will give you the original (in french) and the translation made by me.
English Version
Arrived last year in Jean-René Bernaudeau's team, Mark Velpois is one of french cycling's the future talents. With team-mates like Thomas Voeckler, Damien Gaudin or Sébastien Turgot, it's not always easy to get noticed. Last year, he has got a pretty good season with two top 25 in Paris - Roubaix and the Ronde van Vlaanderen. He also got a top 10 in the Belgium race Nokere - Koerse. And in the Tour de Bretagne, he won his first profesionnal race. Then followed a long break to allow him to work on his degree as an clycling engeneer. When he came back, he was mostly use as a team-mates for his colleagues offering them numerous victories. He ended his season after Binche - Tournai - Binche, where he got the third position confirming its status as classics rider.
This season, Mark still have not had the opportunity to show him much in the races he participated. Here is an interview we had with him after Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne.
Hi Mark, Today you were again seen attackings in the final kilometers, what is the force that makes you want to attack and counter the plans of favorites?
Hi, this is not strictly speaking a force, because I know that in a race like this one, if it's ending in a sprint, I would not get a chance to show my strengh. So I went ahead to try my chance. Moreover, nowadays, with a cycling increasingly criticized for favorite's teams that lock out the race leaving no chance for others, seeing a rider attack restores sight to many fans who follow us.
This offensive attitude has offered you a comparison with Yoann Offredo, what had you to say that?
It's for me an honnor to be compared to Yoann but I have, in any case the pretension to get a top 10 in Milano - Sanremo like he did in 2011. I don't think I can be compared to a specific rider, I think I have my own style and my own attitude on a bike. I learned a lot since last year thanks to my team-mate but my trainer will always be my father who have a very specific race strategy.
Exactly, you started cycling at a very young age, have you ever think of another sport?
Indeed I started very young but I was not implicated at all, I liked more Tennis, I wanted to be like John McEnroe. After a bad injury to the hand, I stoped tennis and I discovered Cyclo-cross and I was quite good at it. Then I moved to road race in the french U23 team. I ended third in U23 Paris - Roubaix in 2012.
With the cobbled classics coming, who do you feel, you and the team?
I'm feeling good, in this team, there is no obligation in results and in wolrd tour points, but there is an obligation of self Overtake, to push our limits to show that cycling is a wonderful sport.
Thanks very much for your time and good luck for what come next
Thanks to you and all fans of cycling who continue to be thousands on the roadside.
Last year, Thomas was winning this race and this year ... he did it again against riders like Alberto Contador (Tinkoff Bank) or Rui Costa (Movistar Team).
Congrats to Steven who won the young ranking.

Last year I ended 8th in this race, today I will do everything to get a better result.
Race Report:
During 40 km they were no breakaway, Sky Procycling was riding fast and nobody even tried to escape.
After 40 km of racing, 4 riders tried and made it, the pace was slowing down a bit.
Then nothing important happened.
25 km before the end, Damien launched an unsuccessful acceleration.
12 km before the end, I decided to attack, knowing my poor abilities in sprint. But unfortunately, Lotto Belisol was controlling everything and they did not let me go.
Finally it ended in a mass sprint where Kristof Goddaert (Lotto Belisol) was the fastest. Séb C. ended 5th, Alexandre 11th and I ended 14th
