"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong
I don't care much for Ferrari, but considering what everyone says McLaren is up to (even Pat "Mr. Honesty" Symmonds), I'll be laughing when they get a monster suspension in a few weeks...
I also don't find it very funny when a rider who keeps fighting against a lack of recognition keeps outperforming his superstar teammate, yet keeps falling behind due to horrible luck

For some reason, no one commented the last race where Massa and Ferrari somehow managed to avoid penalty for driving into Sutil in the pit ... it's unbelieveable.
Anyway, Hamilton took pole today. Next to him is Massa (grrrr!) and in 2nd row it's Kovaleinen and Raikkonen.
"We all know that wasn't the real footage of the Worlds anyway. That was just the staged footage to perpetuate the coverup that it was actually Vinokourov that won the race."
No, Massa is fine, but Ferrari isn't. And FIA is even worse. Hamilton has received numerous and at times very harsh penalties, but when it comes to Ferrari's drivers, nothing ever happens. It's so ridicilous - and obvious that FIA is being bribed
Do you remember when Schumacher parked the car in the middle of qualifying at monaco? THAT was bullshit.
I haven't watched f1 as much but i know hamilton has payed a huge price for any mistake, as opposed to massa.
Brings back memories

A. There was a penalty, they were fined.
B. Why should Massa be punished for something the team did?

The same can be said of McLaren and Renault. As for "nothing ever happens", that's not true.
FIA bribed? This the same FIA that is ignoring the undeniable evidence that McLaren are developing their engine into one much more powerful when the regulations say engines cannot be touched?
They are all corrupt. So please don't defend McLaren. You want to attack Ferrari, attack all three corrupt teams and especially the corrupt old bag Mosley that has literally never made one single decision good for the sport.

t-baum: I remember when that happened. It's one of the few times when Ferrari was punished. However, it took days for them to do anything. Weird, since it was so obvious what he did.
isso: A fine? Right, and you're telling me that a small fine to a team like Ferrari is actually a punishment? It might be officially, but in fact, no one cares.
Massa drove the car, didn't he? Why shouldn't he be punished then?
I don't know more about F1 than what happens on the road. And from what I see, FIA is very easy on Ferrari compared to McLaren. I don't know anything about the other "scandals" except that McLaren was punished last year for spying.

Its nothing, but they were punished so your affirmation was wrong.

The driver can't see, which is why there's the lollipop man. Do you even know what the lollipop man does? It's his responsability, not Massa's. Every time the lollipop man screws up, there's huge chaos because he is the one telling the driver when to go. Do you think he stands there doing what? looking pretty?
Massa isn't an idiot. In the impossibility that he could've seen what was happening behind him, he wouldn't have rushed a pitstop because of a backmarker.

Yes they were. and in what universe was that punishment unfair when Neil Oatley himself confessed?

You have no idea how much you're pissing me off with that. Don't say that again or I'll get violent. I'm not joking. I would never support those fucking corrupt assholes in anything.

You do know that there's side mirrors in those F1-cars, right? By looking in them, you can see what's going on behind you ... e.g. seeing that Sutil is coming, and you therefore shouldn't be going since it would be against the rules.
I didn't say that Massa is an idiot. I like Massa, but I don't like that Ferrari isn't punished (again, yes, legally speaking they have received a punishment, but we all know - although you won't admit it for some weird reason - that it's mainly just a cover-up).
Also, I didn't say that McLaren didn't deserve to be punished. I only meant to say that I don't deal with what's going on behind the scenes since I basically only watch the races and that's it.
And yes, I know that you wouldn't like me calling you a Ferrari fan which is why I added that smiley at the end. That said, I don't see why you're defending them here. It's obvious to everyone - I thought - that Ferrari deserved a penalty here (more than a fine which no one cares about). Also, do you disagree that if this had been McLaren, they would have received the same treatment?
The Formula 1 is just for entertaining , the penaltys aren´t very very good , I think that they are more punishing McLaren than Ferrari , I would bet many Euros that a McLaren driver would have a drive through penalty when he would do that what Massa done in Valencia , it´s not a team fault , Massa got some mirrors to look behind him..
I think Spa is only very interesting when it´s raining , and it does! and when it rained there could be another rain fall

No you can't. That's one of the bigger issues that has been debated this season in rules changes for next years: it's literally impossible to see in the mirrors of most cars, the Ferrari included. And even if it were possible, he can't be looking in the mirror and at the lollypop man. He must look at one only, and that will always be the lollypop man, who is the one who can see how the tire changes and fuel are going

a cover-up? it's a very small thing that happens all the time and NO ONE EVER GETS PUNISHED FOR. Montoya got punished for it at williams in 2004 and there was a huge scandal about it. Ferrari gets punished for it and nobody says a thing. It happens so very often.

I have no idea what treatment McLaren would've gotten. The FIA changes coats so often depending on what suits them. I do however know that it happens about once every 2 races and nobody ever gets punished for this.
