It seems that the Bahrain GP will be ridden at night from 2014.
That would be nice. The race will be ten times spectaculair in the dark, because it's so boring.
Massa will leave Ferrari, Räkkönen, Hülkenberg and Bianchi are in the race for the second seat next to Alonso.

I so want Hulkenberg to get into that Ferrari seat. The guy is seriously talented and needs to be given the opportunity to show it in a competitive car.
Bianchi is too young yet, needs another season or two to show he is worthy.
Raikkonen frankly is past it in terms of championships, but he would be good for the team. Just rather see Hulkenberg given the chance.

More interestingly perhaps is the short list for the vacant Toro Rosso seat : Carlos Sainz Jr, Felix Da Costa and Daniil Kvyatt.
Any thought on them and their potential ? |

I think Kvyatt is the most talented of the three, but I'm not sure if he's ready yet and brings in enough money.

Probably Costa. He's the most experienced of the three. |

It's official now. So, who to replace Kimi at Lotus? |

Massa, Hülkenberg. I'd like to see Van der Garde there. He's driving great this season. But I don't think that will happen.

Lotus... of course Hulkenberg has a case. Massa, no plain and simple. Van der Garde would be a major surprise as well for that seat.
I would expect them to bring in someone new to the sport. Fabio Leimer has had a good season in GP2, as has Tom Dillmann. Frankly there are a lot of drivers in the lower divisions that have shown the potential to bag a drive.
Also i wouldn't rule out Bianchi or Pic or Vergne (shock that one i admit).
Don't forget that Grosjean will be a 2 1/2 season vet at that point, with a lot of good results and experience.

Whoever said v.d.Garde is a comedy genius
Hülkenberg is almost a certainty at this point. Bouiller is creaming himself at having him available and has already started negotiations.
Ferrari 2014 should be fun to watch, even if Alonso is very likely to end up on top as Cesare Fiorio pointed out

Sainz, his agent and Red Bull have all already said he's not ready.
The question is will he ever be ready. He's not really very good. Like most of the Red Bull youth program drivers he's there because he has sponsors that pay Red Bull money.
Kvyat is likely a lot better than Costa but isn't nearly ready, he needs at least a season in FR3.5 or GP2.
Costa basically has no competition, but even despite that with the crap season he's had he's still making the red bull guys re-evaluate the situation.
Mind you, he hasn't had a particularly bad season or anything, he's just back to his normal level after 3 months last year where he was just insanely good for no apparent reason. Take away those 3 months and he's just another guy not good enough for F1.
Anyway, he's been given an ultimatum: He has until the end of this month to produce results or he won't get the spot, in which case Red Bull will probably prompt for a very talented guy not on their books, like Frinjs or even snatch one of the McLaren guys Vandoorne or Magnussen

Kimi posts a purple time.

So, who's ready for another boring race tomorrow? Or to see Grosjean crash out half of the pack? |

I'm getting tired of people saying this stuff about Vettel's domination and Grosjean.

Well, it's the truth. Although Grosjean doesn't crash that many times as in 2012.

Doesn't change the fact that it's true.
When Webber crossed the line to finish his quali lap, Vettel started celebrating, even though 7 other cars were still on hotlaps
That's because he knows as well as anyone else that the Red Bull is such a dominant car that the only guy who can beat him is the not so talented old man who also has a Red Bull car. That makes for a very boring sport.

How do you explain all the pole-positions by Mercedes?
EDIT: Oh and I'm not saying Vettel doesn't dominate, it's just not as extreme as it seems.
