Same for me. But I'm happy that Westra didn't lose too much time. And maybe Gesink and Kelderman can take time in the mountains.

Breaking News: A spectator dropped a glass of water which caused Gesink to arive at the hotel two hours later than planned.

LOL Failsang.
Also, ruben to make his stereotypical post explaining that Gesink is not a bad descender in 3...2...1....

Also holy hell Talansky! I have a bet on him to win the GC but I never expected him to take yellow on this stage! I was thinking he'd take it on the last stage

It's due to bad positioning going into the hill, he ranted a bit on the CN forum

I'm hoping for Porte, but we'll see. I'd be quite surprised if it was Scarponi though. |

One thing I still can't figure out is Sky's tactic. Why didn't Lopez bury himself completely once they came down on the flat to open up a big gap for Porte, instead of doing a bit of work and looking for others to take turns on the front.
Doesn't seem too clever to me.
Why shouldn't he try to make the gap significant enough for Porte to be a real contender for the GC?
That's what I'm saying...
Didn't look like he was doing that to me.

@Eske
Well, there are plenty of riders that have more chance (In My Opinion) than Scarponi. Talansky, Westra, Quintana, Porte, Van Garderen and Gesink still have more chance.
Scarponi does have a chance, but it's not for sure that he wins it
Also, Schleck rides Tirreno.

Can't see Gesink gains 1 minute or more on guys like Talansky and Van Garederen in Lure stage...
With all the tricky stages in thenext Giro, I hope he'll be more careful than today |
