isn't it great how ill people can perform ?
Fun Fact #2: in 2006, 1 out of every 4 professional cyclists did NOT have a doctor's prescription for steroids to treat asthma.
That wasn't a dienblad's quote.
Isso is crazy quoter today.
Sorry. I'm not very good.

Question for issoisso: Do you believe that every single rider that wins 1 race, or shows some great performance, is using doping? Please tell me if I'wrong, but it seems to be like that. It's getting pretty irritating to me....
In the cylingweek of Coppi and Bartali they've done a different kind of team-time-trial. All the teams had to split up their team in two teams of four riders. Katusha was the fastest with one of their four-riders teams.
He also says this means he won't be in good for the Basque tour, or any races he might do afterwards (Both Classics and Giro are still a possibility)

This is so dangerous. All these cars and motorbikes, don't ride so aggressive in all that chaos... Remember Van Impe on Alpe d"Huez, remember Hoogerland...

corrected, since Hoogerland was only hit by Flecha

I can understand why the driver got mad, maybe not that he tried to ram the motorbike, but he obviously was in a hurry and was using his horn, the motorbike didn't move, so the car forced its way through.

I sometimes wonder if Johnny ever talked to Flecha about the incident since Flecha is now in his team. Probably not though, I remember Hoogerland wanting to put it all behind him, and not being seen in Holland as the 'barbed-wire' guy.
WADA have put out a warning about GW501516, saying it is dangerous to athlete health. Like AICAR it burns fat and increases endurance, and can be used with it. Apparently people have been caught but are yet to be named. Could be a story to watch, with the way people have lost weight ans gained endurance in cycling, not naming any names...

So Lampre - Merida has signed Joxean Fernandez Matxin as a sporting director. I wonderd if he is credible and what others can say about him?
I know he worked last time with Geox in 2011.
Not credible at all. I find it quite bad news that he's found a job in pro cycling again. But hey, he's quite a nice guy, so it's something.
