Costa! Why couldn't you hold on to the best time?
pretty disappointed because of the result, no top ten. Although I got a stagewin I am almost last in the rankings...
@Ollfardh can you post your ranking as well? |

ah okay maybe I will do one on what I would win and can talk about mine as well it would be the best
PS: Somehow you calculated to less points for my team I think:
1* Stage Win: 338 + 1* TOP 3: 270 + 2* TOP 10: 201 = 1010...
You got 740
Edit: I think for some other teams it's wrong as well

Bikex, not allowed to publish it yet, sorry. I think if people know the outcome, they might let their ranking change their opinion about which method is best. But as I said before, there's no major differences between rankings yet (your crappy team is also in the lower half in mine ).
I think someone else was making a ranking with the official UCI or PCM points as well, can't remember who though. As Manx said we'll be discussing them soon and see which one fits best
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Sabido would prefer to sign acontract with a Portuguese team since he is from there and he is a big Costa fan as well
Nice to see Tour of Oman start soon |

He's not getting tortured. But for the team that would have worked on the sprint stages, that's another talk. Henao is having a "relaxing" afternoon. |

Tour of Qatar - Stage 1
Barzan Towers - Doha Golf Club
So here we are for the start of the Tour of Qatar. The CT's second race of the season, and it certainly won't be the best. The profile is flat, flat, flat, flat, flat ... etc. Its a pure race for the sprinters to lap up. Its a rare chance for them to take a GC win so expect some competition up the front end.
Todays stage is 136km from Barzan Towers to Doha Golf Club. There are two IS's at the Sub Station and at Umm Suwraya Farm.
136km to go - So the peloton heads out for the first time.
134km - Its not long before Popkov(PER) starts the attacking. He is followed by Milne(CSC) and McEvoy(TCW)
131km - Louder(DOM) and Miyazawa(NAC) get in on the move now.
125km - Vandborg(TCS), Jorgensen(ABC) and Starzenburger(RBM) also join the action
122km - The first five are reeled in as Vandborg, Jorgensen and Starzenburger charge on ahead
115km - Popkov(PER) attacks again with Niermann(TCS) and Kadri(NAC). But CAT won't let them clear
111km - Milne(CSC) Popkov(PER) and McEvoy(TCW) all go clear again, and run off to join the leaders
95km - Noteable as this is the first time the peloton has dropped below 50km/h
91km - The first IS at Sub Station. McEvoy stretches his legs to take maximum points.
Spoiler 1st McEvoy (TCW)
2nd Louder (DOM)
3rd Starzenburger (RBM)
39km - The second IS at Umm Suwaiya Farm. Milne dashes to the points this time.
Spoiler 1st Milne (CSC)
2nd Starzenburger (RBM)
3rd McEvoy (TCW)
25km - The gap has dropped to 1'41 with AXA working hard
20km - AXA still pulling bring it down to 1'10
15km - Still AXA working and the gap is 58"
10km - SGM and CAT take over and the gap disintegrates to just 17"
8km - CAT make the final catch. Teams start trying to organize, but the speed and wind are causing havoc.
3km - There are three clear organizations. SGM, BUL and CAT.
1km - Kittel is opens up from his lead-outs wheel. Ertzen hangs on behind him. They have a clear gap behind, so its a two man duel
FINISH - There was only ever going to be one winner, Kittel takes the win. Ertzen is just behind in 2nd. Goss rounds out the podium. Degenkolb 4th, Gavazzi 5th and Petacchi 6th. Bos struggled in 7th ahead of Haussler 8th and Loddo 9th. Forster rounds out the top10.
There were a couple of splits behind, but no-one of note is caught out.

Nice win for SGL and Kittel
And so glad that Haussler started his season with a top ten

Edit: I think for some other teams it's wrong as well
TCS is right though
I think Cymru has too much
Why the heck is Veelers not in front?
I got three in the TOP 20 none in top10

Tour of Qatar - Stage 2
Lusail TTT
Red Bull-M&M's were the first team off today. It was not a good day for the team, but as they had no time trialists a poor result was expected. They came home 16th.
Pro Team Haier had equally low ambitions and came in 13th.
Team Cymru Wales were flying high after Algarve. They had an average rider finishing up in 10th place.
Triks Custom Season had a low key day. They looked good but only finished in 9th place
Dominos-ASR have been aggressive this season, but this TTT was not great for them. The team finished up 14th
Team CSC have got off to a great start this season. If only the same could have been said about the day. They finish last today, 17th
Pure Black-Genesys have turned up with high hopes. And Goss's chance at the GC still has hope after a great ride into 3rd today.
AXA-Pinerello probably hoped for a bit more than they got today. Not a bad ride but only into 8th
Pervyj were the days favorites with a strong set of TT'ers. They lead at the Intermediate Check, and held on to win the day!
Nintendo-Ambuja out did themselves on the roads. They put in a flying second half to finish in 4th place
Allianz-BMW had a quiet day. They went round well enough, but not quick enough finishing down in 12th
SGL-Magix had the Yellow Jersey. They valiantly tried to defend it, going 2nd at the Time Check. But fell away towards the finish ending the day in 11th.
Bulgari-Inditex started off warily and were off the pace a bit at the halfway point. But the strength of the team showed as they finish a close second on the day
TAP-Michelin should probably not dwell on the result. They dragged home well down in 15th
Caterham-Austar really looked up for it on the start line. They put in a solid rider ending the day 6th.
Magners Pro Team had a good day out. They were not far off at the halfway check, and did well to come home 7th.
Sony Ericsson went hell for leather over the first half! Third at halfway the GC was in their reach. Larsson was outstanding as they finished 5th. Could Ertzen take the GC?
