3rd and 8 seconds back to Gilbert in GC, should be happy. But I'm not... And Manx, what happened to Goss? |

Don't know what i can say: i'm really more than disappointed! Betancur (76 HI and 75 MO) not able to stay with Breschel or Van Avermat!
Well let's hope for other better days... |

Tour Down Under - Stage 6
Adelaide - Adelaide
Here we arrive. The final 90km of racing around the streets of Adelaide. The race has been running around the countryside near the city and finally pays it a true visit. Several laps of a city center circuit make for a sprinters paradise. There are two IS's and two KoM's on route, so nothing is certain yet.
90km to go - And we get our early attacks from Torckler(PGR) and Miyazawa(NAC)
88km - Van Kiersbulck(TLI) chases across. As do Kolobnev(ITV), Andriato(AGT) and Tombak(HAI)
85km - Velits(CCC), Geslin(IOQ) and Jorgensen(ABC) try and cross but fail
82km - Clarke(DOM), Brammier(BAR) and Bookwalter(IOQ) try to bridge, but can't make it
78km - Love(ABC) goes next dragging Brammier(BAR), Bol(IOQ) and Di Luca(FWB) with him across the road.
67km - Somehow Bookwalter(IOQ) and Tanner(DAM) make it across late to form the final break.
55km - The first IS goes mostly uncontested as Andriato shoots over to take the points. Unfortunately Greipel has this competition all but sealed already.
Spoiler 1st Andriato (AGT)
2nd Torckler (PGR)
3rd Love (ABC)
46km - The first KoM. Van Kiersbulck rockets away to take maximum points. He now draws into range of taking away from Houle. First or second at the next KoM sprint will give him the jersey. Its up to Brammier to stop him.
Spoiler 1st Van Kiersbulck (TLI)
2nd Di Luca (FWB)
3rd Tombak (HAI)
31km - The second IS is more contested as Love out sprints Andriato. This confirms Greipel as the Points winner.
Spoiler 1st Love (ABC)
2nd Andriato (AGT)
3rd Torckler (PGR)
22km - Brammier hits the front of the break, and is constantly looking around for Van K. But Van K goes early with 2km to go until the sprint. Brammier doesn't know how to react... Van Kiersbulck wins the KoM sprint to steal the jersey away from Houle on the final climb of the race!!
Spoiler 1st Van Kiersbulck (TLI)
2nd Tombak (HAI)
3rd Bookwalter (IOQ)
20km - As we enter the final stages of the race the break holds a lead of 1'32 over an ING and SGM lead peloton.
15km - The gap is shrinking with every turn of the pedals and is only 55"
10km - Love(ABC) attacks the break to go solo, just as they are swallowed by the peloton.
7km - Love surrenders to the peloton. ING lead but behind them its a mess wit sprinters everywhere scrabbling for wheels. Only Greipel looks comfortable following Veenhoff.
3km - ING have control but are short on numbers. Greipel is locked on Veenhoff. Otherwise its just a cluster f...
1.6km - Veenhoff is forced to start his sprint early. It drags a small group away but doesn't shake Greipel at all
1000m - Greipel goes. He flicks up a gear and cruises past Veenhoff.
FINISH - The Gorilla never looks back. He takes an easy win by several lengths. Veenhoff takes second confortably as well. Behind its Sutton how rounds out the podium. Appollonio shows himself in 4th. Hammarling surprises to 5th ahead of Feillu in 6th. Belletti makes his first appearence in 7th ahead of Haedo 8th and Matthews 9th. Viviani rounds out the top 10.

Hmm... Veenhof did great at the TDU. Just the Gorilla keeps him from winning each time (except Rojas once )

First race complete!! Yay
Rankings have been updated on the 2nd post (sorry for the formatting, will change that eventually). Its going to be an interesting season...
WT will now take a break as the CT hits another gear, so keep an eye out over there.

Another top 10 by Feillu. Just disapointed that Kiriyenka failed hard in the GC. |

At least Visconti kept the Top 10 in GC and we finished in a Top 10 of a stage with Ballan Still very disappointed. |

I like them too! We hold 4th place after one and a half races which are/were really not a focus for the team! [ I'm kind of shocked though to see ING way down in the rankings after this TDU ] |

@Ollfardh
Will look at them after some more CT races...
@ste_18
But FWB were agressive at least. Better to try and fail than not even try.

Yeah. I'm also shocked. A stage win, and 4 Top 3's aren't enough it seems

If i was ING i would actually be happy with the rankings.
Miles clear of the bottom5 so out of relegation zone, good.
If Voeckler had been in top10, as he showed he could have been on Willunga, they would be up in 3rd place.
Just shows though that even Top10's and jerseys make a difference (thank christ for Van K, saved my race)

Well, you have only some stage results, no GC, no jerserys. I think you were pretty high on the ranking until the GC points were added.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
