This really is a fairytale story. Amazing!
3-3, 5 minutes into the extra time, Owen, the Liverpool boy, shows up and makes it 4-3 vs. town rivals from Manchester City.

It's very strange to see Owen scoring vital goals for Man United now, but in a way I'm quite pleased for him.
Hopefully Chelsea - Tottenham will be just as exciting as the Manchester derby |

I'm so glad I was wrong!
Anyone seen this weekends line up of games? Somehow the fixtures have combined to make a real 'meh' weekend. |

Eventhough I'm a Spurs-fan, the match between Arsenal-Blackburn is something of the best I have seen of football.
Congratulations on a great win Arsenal! |

A clear sign that your loved one is a Portsmouth fan: You find them crying in a corner.
Pompey deducted 9 points because of really really bad economy.

goodness, i didnt get a good luck at the challenge, but the reactions told the story. Shawcross ws clumsy, but just watching him leave the field he was visibly distraught.

And now the 2 most affected players from that both have scored. Cesc and Vermaelen. |

It was quite sickening to watch. Shawcross went to kick the ball, whilst sliding into the challenge. I think Ramsey got his ankle caught under Shawcross' leg, and the resultant injury was a clear break to Ramsey's leg. I suggest you don't watch it, or try and find it to watch, as it was horrific. Pretty much the most digusting thing I've seen for a while. However, I do not think it was malicious, as could be seen by Shawcross' reaction of being distraught and wanting to go to Ramseys side.

So what if it wasn't fucking malicious? Doesn't excuse the fucking challenge. |

He wasn't challenging Ramsey. It wasn't like Ramsey HAD the ball under his control. They both went for it. Shawcross to clear it, Ramsey to dribble with it. I didn't like it, and I support Arsenal, but again, I don't think it's a matter to swear about.

it makes a difference, Shawcross made an honest mistake imo, and it wasnt as bad as if he went in seeking revenge or pain on Ramsey. To me there is a big difference. Granted, i only saw the challenge in real time without full attention, but as bad as it seemed, Shawcross is not a thug and as I thought and rjc descirbes it, the injury was also a result of an awkward occurance.

Switching to a cheerier subject
BAHAHAHHAHAH suck it Terry.
I have absolutely nothing against Chelsea or for City, but the only way I could've enjoyed the game more would be if Terry had been sent off and Bridge had scored

They still get lengthy sentences. Like he should get a long ban. To dicourage going into challenges like that. It may not have been malicious, but he wasn't thinking, which is almost as bad. |
