1) Yes pay them the same, when the races are the same length, other wise its the men who are disadvantaged
That doesn't make any sense. Pay them the same when they generate as much interest as the men.
Thats just the problem: they don't generate the same interest, if they did we wouldn't have the problem of them having unfair wages.
As for pay the same: wage depends on your working time and type of work. So why should women get the same when they race less (and quite certainly train less). I believe some Wimbledon organizer asked if women were interested in equal prize fund if the play for 3 set wins. Completelly rejected.

Working time is not relevant, they don't produce manufactured goods.
They're here, like issoisso wrote, to make publicity for their sponsors. They get little coverage, so they offer much less publicity, so sponsors invest much less, in the end there's less money left to pay them. Logical.
If their races were more interesting (from a sportive viewpoint), probably more people would watch it, and the above reasoning would work the other way round.
Seriously, women road cycling must be the most boring event in cycling. |

Having watched some of the World RRs in recent years, the women's events were great (last year notwithstanding, although that was boring all-round). |

Time trial is the most boring event in cycling and it is more boring in mens cycling because the race is longer. |

I like TT's. They aren't as good as mountain finishes but there's still something exciting about a TT in the last few days of a stage race where it can redefine the general classification. I do agree that one-off time trials are a little boring, but they are quite good in stage races.
Speaking of the time trial, I was surprised to see Contador perform so poorly by his standards. I thought he was nailed on to get on the podium, with Cancellara, Wiggins, etc. not taking part. |

It's already hard enough for men's teams to find sponsors.
I don't think womens racing is more boring then men's. The majority of the men's races were boring too this season. |

It´s tomorrow.
But iirc there won´t be any streams because of the "klootzakken" at the Dutch broadcaster NOS.

Just saw her photo, you can have her.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

I don't get the fuss either, you kick a rock in a random university and dozens of prettier girls appear. Great bike rider though.

Possibly, but the chances are slim that you can talk about cycling with any of those, and common interests are a defining factor for the success of a relationship.
