will Tiralongo be allowed the win?
I hope so, but i guess it depends on the gap to rodriguez
If he can stay with Contador, he will win for sure |

I hope he stays with Contador, then.
Rodriguez loses his last team-mate.

It took a 2.15-gap with 14km to go for Rodriguez to start doing something.
Rodriguez is dead!!

If Rodriguez is really done then Valverde might even be able to get 2 minutes on him!
It will be fun to see if Rodriguez manages to drop from 1st to 3rd.

Long story short, Contador is winning the Vuelta.
Purito has a terrible day.

This stage has been amazing, but I wish the finish would've been a bit more exciting. Contador has got this one in the bag. I almost feel sorry for Rodriguez, his best shot at a GC and he loses it when just as it started to look like he was unbeatable. Hopefully Rodriguez doesn't lose too much time and can gain some time back later for some more excitement. |
